Wilde in Dublin

We had a little birthday party of three people. Food and atmosphere was amazing 10/5. What I didnt really like is that we had to remind the waiter that we ordered 2 sets of oysters, not 1. I also believe that staff should have a little bit more training on the cocktail menu. We tried few, then I asked for something sweet/sour and got something completely opposite, which I had to return. I really wanted to spend the money on your signature cocktails, but ended up drinking my usual Tequila Sunrise for 24 €🤷🏼‍♀️

Restaurant located in the Westbury Hotel. Good selection of options on the menu, the Scallops were excellent, I went for the burger which was tasty and substantial. Our seating area felt like an indoor terrace, spacious and very comfortable for our group, noise levels made for easy conversation. Staff attentive and friendly without overdoing it.

The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and the staff were super lovely. it was perfect. I’ll definitely go again🥰

I had a large family dinner here the evening before my wedding (August 13th), and we dined with 17 guests total. Communication was great with this restaurant beforehand. I had to adjust total count as I wasn't sure if all family would be able to attend, and the restaurant was very understanding of this and only asked for me to confirm my count a week before the event. The restaurant is within the Westbury Hotel (right at the top of the stops when you enter). It is larger than I thought. I reserved months in advance since I was hosting an event, so we were given a private area in the back of the restaurant. Service was exceptional. Food was great. The atmosphere is beautiful. You are definitely paying for fine dining. Dress up because the space definitely calls for a nice evening out!

our dinner was absolutely fantastic. i have a gluten intolerance and the server immediately was understanding of the intolerance versus having an allergy (celiac). my meal was delicious, and it was very appealing to see how nice the presentation was for the other plates! our server, Shaquille, knew it was my birthday and also knew that i’d just gotten engaged and brought over two beautiful plates of small fruit and sugar treats with chocolates that commemorated each event! he even said some beautifully inspiring words which are truly words to live by. this restaurant was able to accommodate more casual dress but dressing up to come here definitely fits the atmosphere too! all in all, i will absolutely come back if given the opportunity!

Had my anniversary dinner here with my spouse. Everything from The food, the service, the atmosphere was wonderful. I hope to visit again in the future.

Just wow! Every time I dine here, I am genuinely blown away. This restaurant is nothing short of spectacular and truly offers something for everyone. To start, I had the prawn cocktail, which exceeded expectations. The portion size was extremely generous, with an abundance of fresh, succulent prawns. The sauce was perfectly balanced - rich and creamy - while the light vinaigrette on the accompanying salad cut through beautifully. On this occasion, I enjoyed the sole meunière, which was a real highlight. The presentation was remarkable, with the fish brought out on a trolley and prepared with finesse right at the table, a touch of theatre that elevated the dining experience. We shared a selection of sides including chips, broccolini, and mash, each of which was faultless and complemented the main course perfectly. We also ordered the cauliflower, which for me was the one weaker element of the meal. The curry sauce accompanying it simply didn’t hit the mark and is something I would likely pass on next time. On a previous visit, I tried the fillet steak and would highly recommend it to any steak lover. In my opinion, it is the best steak in Dublin since Shanahan’s closed - beautifully cooked, tender, and full of flavour. I must also commend the service. A special mention goes to Anderson, whose professionalism, attentiveness, and warm approach made the entire experience all the more enjoyable. This restaurant consistently delivers at the very highest standard, and I cannot wait to return on my next trip home to Dublin.

We’ve eaten at Wilde a couple of times now and it just seems to get better every time,the food is amazing from the steaks to the Dover sole,the prawn cocktail is delicious,I had the wild mushroom risotto this time for a change which was perfectly cooked as everything is. The staff are all lovely, Anderson who looked after myself and my daughter was so nice and very professional.What a beautiful restaurant for any occasion.Such a treat.

Wonderful experience! We are staying at the Westbury and last minute decided to dine at Wilde. The restaurant accommodated our impromptu request for a table. We had exceptional service and the food was amazing; specifically the burger, halloumi and the drinks. The indoor decor is very floral and verdant. The hostess (Camilla?) happened to remember that it was our wedding anniversary (which we had mentioned off handedly) and had the waiter (Anderson?) surprise us with a chocolate truffle dessert cake. Was really the best experience ever! We have loved every minute of our Dublin trip and the Wilde dining experience was the icing on the cake!
