I've eaten spicebags from all over dublin but had yet to grace the doors of arguably the cities most popular spot . The main reason being there's always a queue and no seating ha, well lucky for me I got a seat last weekend and decided to try the famous bag. Ill be honest, I thought maybe it had been hyped up too much for me , but I was thoroughly impressed . Seasoning was excellent , chicken great quality . The curry sauce was too small but it was tasty. I also got a roujimao (Chinese burger) but I wasn't crazy on this, it needed a bit more seasoning and lacked some flavour . But the reason I came was the spicebag and that certainly hit the spot and lived up to the hype for me

Contrary to the name Xian Street Food the service times are often far too long and the employees seem exhausted. I ordered a pork jian pancake and watched it gets slowly assembled over the course of 15 - 20mins. Every 3 or 4 mins an ingredient would be added to the pancake. A Jian Bing is similar to a crepe and the longest I have waited for one in many restaurants before this was 3-5mins. The food that came out looked great and I wish I could try it but after 20mins I left to catch my train. I have no idea how long it would have taken but they had only added the greens to the pancake by the time I left. I would really appreciate a wait timer or an order list so I don't have to gamble a tenner everytime I order. Jian Bing order of assembly for people who don't know. We visited Saturday 11th April just after 5:30pm. Spice bag & drink €13.50, portion HUGE (we shared 1 between 2 people). Food piping hot and yummy. We managed to grab a table inside, however during peak times it is super busy and can be cramped so be prepared to wait. Staff really friendly. Thank you!

Delicious spice bag. Very unique dish that excited all my taste buds! It's always crowded because the restaurant is very small. But both times we ate here we were able to find a seat facing the window. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Food was GREAT! Just beware it's a super busy place so some patience may be needed.

Some of the best food in Dublin. Everyone goes on about the spice bag but the 4 in 1 is a great option. It is a great price (only €8) and comes with egg fried rice, curry/satay sauce, chips and chicken.

Had this delivered to hotel and wow was yummy !! Shame we aren't local as would definitely become a fave , Enjoyed by all the family!
