Yamamori in Dublin

Had a great feast here yesterday after our daughter's wedding. It was perfect in every way, especially our host from the north of Honshu, the mountains and snow. What a wonderful lady. So charming and witty .

Very centrally located, and we walked in without a reservation. We were served immediately. We had the daily special, which was chicken strips with rice and curry, and it was delicious, as were the prawn fritters. The service was very friendly and attentive. Also, if you register on their website, you get a 20% discount on regular menu items, not just the daily special.

Outstanding food and top-tier service!! Massive thanks to Jhonny and Waka for providing absolute top-tier service during our visit! Jhonny is easily one of the best waiters you could ask for—his knowledge of the menu is incredible. He knew every dish inside out, explained how everything was prepared, and clearly broke down the nuances between the various fish. ​I’m not usually a huge fan of Japanese food, but the Yakinwshi (fried egg and black rice + chicken) was absolutely delicious! A huge compliment to Chef Gabi for the fantastic cooking. To top it all off, the Banoffee Pie was spectacular—rich, delicious caramel without being overly sweet. If you're in Dublin, Yamamori is a must-visit!

We went very last minute to get out of the pouring rain and it was so busy we didn’t know if we would get a table as we didn’t book but the lovely lady was able to find us a table. My partner had the Wagyu Striploin steak and it was one of the best steaks he’s had. I had the sushi and it was delicious. Manuel our server was attentive even though they were so busy.

Amazing Japanese kitchen with super positive energy and interior, loved Tamens and Katsu Chicken… massive portions!

Had a great evening for my brothers birthday. Left a note on my booking that it was for a birthday and we had no need to remind the staff, they were on the ball! Mitsumi was a pleasure for the whole evening and constantly made sure everything was good with our food. Thoroughly enjoyable dining experience and would definitely visit again!

This is a nice restaurant and amazing food. Ambience is nice, it is slight expensive but was an amazing experience.
