The food is so delicious every time I come here, and the plum wine is my absolute favorite. Also, the servers work very hard to get everyone's food out quickly, even when it's super busy.

We got the crunchy salmon roll. We were unsure about the asparagus but it ended uo being the perfect addition. The mayo was so delicious and it made the meal amazing. We shared the edamame beans as well which were incredible. Portion sizes were very generous and everything was reasonably priced. They had very cool presentation as well with dry ice. Edit: I returned again today and it was just as amazing as last time.

Nice little sushi/tapas restaurant in Dublin. Fresh sushi, reasonable prices. The ramen and poke bowls looked great as well. Nice decor.

Staff were friendly but very busy and forgetful, they missed 2 items we ordered as well as a drink. We had hot sake which was good. The sushi was very fresh and tasty too, albeit without much variety. It seems they were quite understaffed.

It was a great experience, especially for someone who doesn’t go to Japanese restaurants often. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. I’ll definitely come back if possible!

11/05/2026: We went here for lunch with a group of friends and I had the chance to try the "Chicken Pie" for the first time 🥧🍗 I have no other comparison but I have to say that the flavor was excellent and the dish was well presented. Affordable prices and a wide selection of beers as always in Ireland 🇮🇪☘️🍺 The guy who served us was kind, answered all our questions and made us feel at ease. The place and the neighborhood are very nice and clean, if you are staying in the Sandymount area and surrounding areas I recommend it, it's right next to the beautiful St. Matthews Church ⛪
10/05/2026: Had such a lovely experience at The Merry Cobbler! After a beautiful walk with our dog, we were so happy to find somewhere genuinely dog friendly and welcoming. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, making sure both we and our pup felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and it made the whole outing even more special. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with such thoughtful hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!
