14/01/2026: Top spot!! Locals are class.. Barstaff are class... Pints are also class.... Great Pub, great atmosphere.. Go get yerself a heap of pints if yer lucky enough to be visiting Falcarragh... And don't be a tight arse.. Spend a few ££€€ in the town while yer there...

24/12/2025: A HUGE thumbs up to the Shamrock bar for allowing dogs inside and recognising what customers want. I can not find any other bar, cafe, restaurant, shop or building within Falcarragh or all the surrounding towns that will allow dogs inside. Every place we've tried have rejected us with our small cockapoo dog. They really need to recognise the changing times and what customers want, they are losing so much business. The rest of the world is changing and starting to understand what their customers want and Ireland is being left behind, again. If someone was to open a dog friendly cafe and advertise the fact in a busy place like Dunfanaghy etc they would get a roaring trade from dog owners. Come on, get with the times and recognise what your customers want, there is a reason why the rest of the world is starting to allow dogs in. Well done to The Shamrock Lodge bar!!!!!!
