The best restaurants in Gort an choirce

16/11/2025: A very comfortable hotel - slept really well both nights! It is in a great location for exploring many beautiful places in Donegal. Breakfast was fine - a small selection of cereal, fruit, juice, yogurt and then the usual cooked breakfast of fry, scrambled egg etc to order. The receptionists were very friendly. A few other reviews mentioned the road and our room was on the roadside but I can't say that I heard much traffic, its in a rural location so even on a weekend night there wasn't much going on so it wasn't noisy at all. I would stay here again; the only negative comment I have to make is they could do with cleaning their windows both inside and out!

19/10/2025: Wonderfully comfortable hotel in county Donegal in Ireland. Friendly staff and reasonable rates. I took this hotel as I had a flight from Donegal Airport and there was a bus stop just outside the hotel to the airport. Bed is very plush and soft and the hotel is clean and good service. Breakfast is included as well.

16/08/2025: Gets Very busy . Food is cheep and alot of it . Pizza is best choice all freshly made . Sit in is available for no more then 6 .

06/08/2025: Superb food takeaway. Very friendly. We got kebab superb, Madras chicken curry, awesome and lovely and spicy and fresh tasting. Chips were good - chipper style, not too oily but nice and crispy and decent potato feeling. Chicken goujons were awesome and the chicken nuggets were surprisingly high quality. Like McDonald’s But a little richer feeling in chicken quality. Peshawarri naan was also good quality. Can’t complain it was nice and tasty and fresh enough tasting (wouldn’t be a master myself in that regard; but it was good enough.)
