20/03/2025: Was here earlier.i was torn between two cakes my first choice was the Victoria sponge cake which was fresh soft very tasty.I couldn't leave the almond cake behind so I had a slice fresh and tasty also served warm home made is best 😋😄

28/03/2025: Nice decorations inside the restaurant, hospitality of the staff. But that's it. We booked a table in advance, but had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Then we'd been waiting for almost an hour for our dishes. But we'd better get away from there, as it was terrible. If you never tried rolls, maybe, you will like it, but it was of poor quality and taste. And the duck smelled like old socks, sorry to say, un-eatable. Better find another place for a dinner.

24/03/2025: Unfortunately, our experience can’t confirm all positive reviews. The beer assortment was average and yet, when asked for recommendations, the staff didn’t seem to be knowledgeable. For one of beers we were told it was a local stout and it was actually a lager from some international brand - lol. We left shortly after, not even finishing our first pint…

22/03/2025: My daughter (17) was invited to an 18th birthday party on 21st March and on arrival was refused entry for being under 18. Her and her friends, some of whom had travelled from Dundalk were left on the street to fend for themselves. While trying to decide what to do, they were approached by the bouncer and told that they could not stand outside the pub. When he noticed the parent of another guest in her car just outside the pub he made himself scarce. The girls entered the pub through a side door, and while in the ladies bathroom with the 15 year old sister of the birthday girl, the bouncer entered the bathroom and removed them all from the premises using the excuse that it was illegal for them to be there. This is incorrect, they can attend and the pub would not be breaking the law as long as they were not selling alcohol to under 18s. I think it's disgusting and irresponsible to refuse entry to 17 year old girls and then not only leave them out in the street with nowhere to go but also try to intimidate them into leaving the area. When you accept a booking for an 18th birthday party it is common sense that some attendees will be under the age of 18. In fact it is likely that siblings of the birthday girl/boy would be under 18 as well. To accept the booking and a payment on a per head basis and then refusing entry to half of the invited guests is despicable in my opinion.
