04/07/2025: Stopped in for lunch and we were not disappointed. Wish I had taken a picture of the Irish beef lunch! It was so delicious and no knife was needed for the beef. Diced turnip and carrot sticks were perfectly cooked. The gravy was perfect. Along with mash and broccoli, it was a big plate for only €13.50. The atmosphere was nice and the service was excellent.

10/08/2025: Our first restaurant experience in Balbriggan was incredible because we decided to try Karma. The atmosphere is mystical and romantic, the food is out of this world, and our meal was reasonably priced. Cannot recommend enough!
02/08/2025: Great place with varied and very tasty food.
I am a frequent visitor and the food has never disappointed.
The service is excellent in most cases and the atmosphere is cosy, with pleasant background music.

To the young brunnette teenage girl behind the bar who "greets" guests and hands out menus:"Leave your bitterness and unfriendliness at home."

05/07/2025: Today, the two of us had the doner kebab menu with fries and a drink for 12.99 per menu.
The doner kebab itself was good but very small, and the bread was definitely not doner bread but flatbread, which was very disappointing. While eating, the bread was falling apart at all the edges, and the fries were a complete disaster.
They had been in a bag for 5 minutes because we ordered them to go, and when we wanted to eat them, they were just a clump of fries.
The fries weren't salted, weren't crispy, and the sauce was charged extra.
That's not how I imagine a menu!
But the employee at the cash register was very accommodating and did his best.
The fries concept urgently needs to be revised!

27/07/2025: I ordered a vegan pizza takeaway and it arrived with regular dairy cheese. When I called, they said they’d run out of vegan cheese and just used normal cheese, without informing me. That’s completely irresponsible, especially for people with allergies.
A few weeks earlier, I ordered a vegan tortilla (clearly labeled) and it also came with dairy cheese. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that time, assuming it was a one-off mistake. But this second incident shows they’re not reliable for vegans or anyone with dietary needs, despite having a dedicated plant-based menu section.
25/07/2025: Waitress is lovely. The coffee cake was amazing and the pizza to sit in or collect beats the bus bar at nearly half the price

05/03/2025: If you are a true Indian/Pakistani food connoisseur, you wouldn't like the food at all. It was the only halal place open that Sunday. I wouldn't go there again, nor would I recommend it to family or friends. It was a bit pricey, too.

23/07/2025: Just tried the new blend of Java the Hut called 9 Bars ...Distinct Bold Real Coffee flavour with lasting tropical aftertaste..Amazing new addition to the coffee scene in Balbriggan! I just had a flat while, but can't wait till tomorrow to check it out as a double espresso 😋
10/06/2025: Always love a coffee from Java, with a bespoke roasters just down the road in balbriggan , great priced coffee from the source and some of the highest quality beans available anywhere in Ireland.
