27/10/2025: Came here once and never again. Arrived at the place hoping to get some lunch. We followed a man inside and saw there were about 6-7 people sitting having drinks, but they all turned to stare at us and I felt like we’re trespassing so we froze immediately at the door. The lady behind the bar had such an annoyed face when she saw us that I felt we’d offended her by simply being there. I asked if they’re open, the woman looked at the man we followed in with annoyance and told him she’d only asked him one simple thing, which immediately made me think we were not supposed to be able to enter. Then she looked back at us and with a tired face as if she was making us a huge favour and asked if we were there for lunch, I said yes and then she started making some excuse about the kitchen opening later but we told her we’ll just leave. The second we left, the man we followed in locked the door behind us. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this unwanted before. This was after 12:30 in the afternoon. No signs that the place was closed or that there was a private party. I understand it’s a bank holiday Monday, but even if following the Sunday open hours, the place should have been open since 12:00. Instead, it was only open to a select few, this was not made clear in any way, and we were made to feel like pests. Rude tone, no explanation - I’d much rather spend my money elsewhere.
