03/04/2024: Fantastic food friendly staff, a great mix of modern with old world charm.

24/03/2024: We stayed last night at the lovely castle oaks! From the minute we arrived in bar the four young lads were super friendly!! After beautiful meal we met probably the four nicest workers! Josephine oran Adam and Alex!!! They are some asset to your hotel!!! There just seems to be a really good work environment!! More hotels could take a leaf out of yer book!! Will certainly be back!! 10/03/2024: Bradshaw's Appalling Treatment of Regular Customers Update: Owner completely falsified factual events through email to me. Highlights the owners sheer absence of integrity and bestows this culture directly onto the staff. March 2024 Falsely accused by a female member of bar staff of intoxicating a patron through the purchase of a single measure of bacardai which the patron DID NOT consume. The female member of bar staff had no issue charging and dispensing said measure. So after an entire evening of drinking by the patreon I was targeted by the barmaid as the culprit for her condition, a girl I never met before and purchased this shot at closing time. The question is who served her the alcohol all night. Clearly profit trumped the owners duty of care.

10/03/2024: Nicely decorated bar and historic, impressions were good till we were met with poor service, was a bit uncomfortable. A shame for a venue with such potential.

11/02/2024: Had a take away from here, service was good and food was fine but my god, how much msg is there in the food?? I like a good chinese and I know msg is used but the amount in their food has me feeling like I'm hungover today with no alcohol taken 🙃 I won't be going back, purely because of this.
