The best restaurants in Rathkeale

11/06/2025: Been here 2 times. Had to drop the car at Rathkeale so was passing the time. The location isn't especially inspiring, and I think you have to park in the Spar car park across the road? The staff are friendly enough. My main issue was the price. For a tiny lemon meringue and latte I paid €10.75. If the latte was, say, €4, then that makes the dessert €6.75. There's absolutely no way on this earth that that dessert was worth that much. Or any of the desserts on offer. Pretty disgraceful to be honest. I'll stick to Brother Bear at Kilcornan, thank you. Lovely staff, great interior, brilliant menu variation, and superior home baked treats for just €4.

05/04/2025: Couldn't have met nicer staff even under a lot of pressure with antisocial behaviour from a lot of children and other people, food was lovely too. Thank you for the warm welcome and delicious food
