08/11/2024: Clearly a good restaurant, immediately evident. Service appeared smooth, professional. Now, the food, yes, it seemed to be of a high quality, well prepared, presented ok, tasty, ok, nice, yes. But. However, the repercussion of a sleepless night with severe heartburn is not going down well. Note, this coming @ 04:45 ish in the morning, trying to deal with the situation. Also, in hindsight, left a generous tip, which wasn't really appreciated by the server, in that usual, at least with a polite thank you kind of way... This says, don't know, maybe entitlement? Maybe they know they're good, and so what? Well, tell you what, won't be going back. One star food for the night long payback...

14/08/2024: I ordered a 1/4 pounder meal deal and it was delivered within 30 minutes of ordering and it was 10/10 I personally prefer the larger chips they retain less grease and the burger was made to perfection and the milkshakes are to die for

21/10/2024: Pizza is oily and dry at the same time, kind of feels like eating soggy cardboard. Taste hella mid as well, just go dominoes. Saw linda from queens wok on here before, think they have some secret drug deal going on. Would look into that. I think the brownies r laced as well, possibly fent brownies. Cookies r burnt as hell, i think i rather eat a brick tbh

30/10/2024: I got satay chicken and noodles the satay is more nutty than my normal Chinese but I really liked it my partner got tofu and rice with satay, she said the tofu is one of the best sheâs had, full of flavour very crispy (she asked for extra crispy) we went into order and met a lovely woman who served us 10/10 experience. I would definitely order again if Iâm ever in dunboyne :)
21/10/2024: just found out that the chinese has some sort of vietnamese gambling thing take place occasionally in the back, Looking forward 2 going. unfortunately i am not vietnamese nor do i speak any of their language so getting in will be tricky. Also hereâs a tip if ur going here, ask 4 their âspecial sauceâ kinda bitter and salty but itâs nice and itâs creamy. queens wok has some competition

Called in on a Sunday morning the place was almost empty apart from 1 family of 6 people. We were not greeted or shown to a table. We went over to a table and sat down, we were seated for at least 15 minutes before any staff approached us and took orders for tea/coffee, waited another 10 minutes before cold tea/coffee arrived, server took breakfast order and we waited at least another 20/25 minutes before the order arrived, (taking into account that at least 5 staff were walking around the empty pub)! The food wasn't high quality produce, the presentation was very slap dash and the service brutal. I will definitely not be returning to this place. Very disappointing experience!!!
02/06/2024: Celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary in the Logan Room upstairs in Slevins. Michelle and Lee were very professional going through food and drink options for the party. Food was excellent, with very generous portions. Staff on the night were very busy, as there was another function on in the bigger room , but they made sure we were all looked after. I would recommend Slevins for any family gathering, well worth a trip..Jennifer Davis
