28/01/2026: My bestie booked the table for 2 in this lovely Mediterranean restaurant. Food quality was good with options of gluten free appetiser. I ordered linguine with Prawns and chorizo and the dish was to Die for! Also the banoffe cake was amazing and the staff sang to me "happy birthday " song as well. Lovely Cody atmosphere. Family oriented restaurant as well and good price for what we have eaten. Highly recommended ๐

02/03/2026: Had a fabulous lunch on 28.02.26. Food was very tasty and staff very nice.
HOWEVER, when we got the bill the daily special turned out to be a rip off!!! when we ordered we were not told the price of the daily specials, Only it was steak Sambo, wrap or broccoli soup.
turned out that our Cajun chicken wrap and a couple of chip... โฌ23.95!!
I would expect a whole chicken, with salad or veg and a full portion of chips. Might I add that their chicken burger with all the trimming is advertised at โฌ18.95

27/03/2026: Food was very good got the T-Bone, cooked perfectly, partner got the rib eye was also very good The pepper sauce complimented the food, the trimmings were all very tasty,
Service was very attentive and thorough.
And for the price you canโt go wrong. Desserts were unreal got the cheesecake. Would highly recommend.

25/02/2026: I ordered a birthday cake online from The Crusty Corner for delivery. The delivery charge was โฌ10 and the order went through. Two days later they rang/texted me and said that there had been a fault in the system and that they would charge โฌ75 for delivery or else they wouldn't deliver it. Being let down at this stage means that I may be without a cake for my brother's birthday. I run a business myself and, if a mistake on my side caused a customer to be let down, I would fulfill the order as promised and take the small financial hit involved, and then fix the system so that it doesn't happen again. I suggested this to them on the phone but there was no flexibility there. Even to meet in the middle, somewhere between โฌ10 and โฌ75 for delivery, would have shown a bit of goodwill, but there was no goodwill here. There are lots of good bakeries around, avoid this one.

08/02/2026: Very poor experience. When I called, a member of staff answered and had trouble understanding me, there was shouting in the background, including someone yelling โkurwa.โ At that point another staff member took the phone and said โWhat you want?โ and refused to give their first name when I asked. I was not allowed to speak, kept being put on hold both times I called, and instructions I wanted to pass on regarding the deluvery have bee ignored on purpose.
The order was left at the door and was cold by the time it was picked up off the ground (no doorbell used).
Completely unprofessional service.
25/01/2026: The workers have 2 speeds: slow and very slow.

13/02/2026: I never usually leave reviews but I just felt the need to as Me and my girlfriend dined here on 13/feb 26 while we were staying in the hotel and I just want to say the staff are an absolute credit to the hotel we eat out quite a lot a never received such a high standard of service special thanks daniela and Kate you made our evening and look forward to returning
03/10/2025: I just want to say a huge thank you to Carmen and her staff in the Ivy Restaurant in Dunboyne castle for our lovely Retirement lunch today.
We were a large group of 24 people and the staff were so attentive to us and catered for all our needs.
The lovely gesture of the gorgeous desert you gave to our Retiree was so thoughtful.
We appreciated everything and really enjoyed the afternoon

21/07/2025: We were staying at the nearby hotel. This was relatively close and an easy walk. We had an enjoyable meal and the service was great.
21/07/2025: Ordered Fish and Chips last Saturday night 19th. Have had this dish on numerous occasions in Slevins. When it arrived the fish was the colour of a brown leather shoe and the batter was of the same consistency! All three people at the table agreed it was inedible so I sent it back. 15/20 minutes later still waiting.
The Manager Michelle told me the Chef thought the batter was a funny colour so was making another one! Finally arrived and it was worse. Not helped by the skin showing through the burnt batter at the back!
The Manager here needs not to adopt such a defensive and rude attitude. I was told.......she tasted the fish and it was fine, nobody else complained and her final insulting parting shot....we would be happy to welcome you again but suggest you don't order the Fish and Chips! Now the staff here are normally extremely pleasant and the food very good. All my friends go there so we were very surprised to be treated in this manner. My companions food was great. The servers were lovely. Will go again but Slevins you need to perhaps arrange further training here. Customers matter and good customer service is essential for any business.

07/02/2026: Great place that's definitely worth a visit. Pizzas where very nice, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was very welcoming. You can tell a lot of pride is taken by the people working here and this is reflected in the delicious product they provide you with.
22/11/2025: Probably the best pizza I ever had. Nice staff and good service.
Unfortunately only take away is available but south us due to be living only few min.away.
