The best restaurants in Ratoath

29/03/2024: Service was slow and wasn’t great. food wasn’t great either. the lighting was too dark so I couldn’t actually see what I was even eating.. chips were stale and cold (as if they had been sitting out for an hour). Desserts were the only thing that made our experience less terrible. Wouldn’t be returning in a hurry

24/02/2024: The food here is amazing! Best southern fried chicken I ever had. The fresh cod was huge and they threw in some lovely chips! This is my new favourite chipper!

20/03/2024: I’m a local resident of ratoath, have been going on 20 plus years now. My whole family lives here and has always liked to support local businesses. But no more. I was out for a walk with the dog this morning and decided to go for breakfast and do some trading while I was at it. Was told “we don’t have wifi. We use the community centres” . That wasn’t true the wifi signal for as you like it was broadcasting. Just presumed I was looking to bum off the wifi for free. I was looking to make a trade so I could transfer funds to an account so I could eat. I’ve eaten in as you like it for a number of years. I started to dislike it during COVID when the owner screamed at me one day when I was there with my mother for lunch because I asked why we needed to provide a phone number to have lunch. Was told to “go somewhere else if you don’t like it”. And today has just completely convinced me to never eat there again. I’ll be advising my mother and both sisters to do the same. No one is that broke to they need to bum wifi. Idiots.

03/12/2023: The consistency and quality of Taj compared to other high-end joints, quality here is on par, if not a step above. It's always my go to.

24/11/2023: The best Lamb Madras I have ever had. Probably best in the country. I will be back.

01/03/2024: 2 hours waiting on food to be delivered. Called numerous times, the people answering sniggering down the phone when we asked where our order was. Told 5 more minutes several times. Used to be great but it’s gone to the dogs, always late, always an excuse.

19/01/2024: Dropped by at Ratoath Wau Fusion for dinner. Surprisingly the food served is superlicious. Staff are very friendly and service is good. Beef rendang is highly recommended.
