04/03/2025: The Dalton Inn or it could be called no inn .I went in for lunch on walking in the place look fine nice I have a real gem .so it carvery lunch I order salmon mash peas and carrots. It was ok .so I seen sherry trifle nice so I asked that all so .I was told by chef it would be brought down eat my main meal .and was sitting waiting waiting waiting waiting. By this stage the had start to clean up and only for I asked one of the girls about and her reply was I can get it for u now .I said .I just want my back which I got .now I could have walked out and not said a word I would have being out of pocket.The managenent need to take a long hard look .as for not a cat in hell chance I will be back

03/03/2025: Great carvery here & generous serving. Great choice of beef, fish, chicken or turkey & ham. Food is served quickly & a hot plate. And you can pay quickly too, which means your dinner is nice & hot. There's a choice of gravy or pepper cream sauce. You can get water, squash( water with orange cordial) or a drink from the bar to accompany your meal. You won't be disappointed. You won't be hungry after this meal. Lovely polite friendly staff. Plenty comfortable seating. A choice of desserts. I think the carvery finishes at about 3 or 3.30 p.m. but then they have a menu that you can order from...Its a good value hotel & Claremorris is a lovely town. There's plenty shops...jewellery, clothes, hardware, & supermarkets.
