01/11/2025: In a world speeding up with seeming indifference to strangers and travelers on the rise, the Coach House Hotel stands alone in defense of the old ways. People matter here, as you'll be able to tell from the moment you step through their doors. Everything in my room was very clean and comfortable, and every single staff member I encountered went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care with a smile. And the food, well, it was one of the best meals I've had in the whole of Ireland. You can tell a master at work when such seemingly simple ingredients as chicken and potatoes are not only presented so beautifully but clearly cooked with love and attention to detail. I will be going out of my way to come back as often as possible.

GORMLEY'S Corner House

09/10/2025: My daughter and I stayed in their AirBnB next door and enjoyed visiting with the locals at the bar. The hosts are delightful. It was the best evening of our visit to Ireland. We felt totally at home.

10/05/2025: Food was simple and really good, exactly what I was looking for, kinder bueno milk shake with an shot of coffee was amazing, customer service friendly, extra points for the omelette, delicious 😀.
17/04/2025: Cute little cafe right across from the church. We only tried brownie and scones. But the card offers much more. As already written in other reviews, going to the 1st floor is worth it. Sitting there is a little quieter and has a nice view.

25/08/2025: The best pub in Ballymote. The Guinness is amazing, better than what we got living in Dublin! All our Dublin friends and family agree.
A beautiful wooden interior with a wonderful fireplace that really adds to the atmosphere. And the staff are superb and so friendly.

Super Bites Takaway

12/02/2025: We went there for 2 pizzas. Was told to come back in about half an hour to pick them up. When I arrived, they completely forgot about my pizza in the oven so they burned it to crisp and had to make me another one. 20 minutes later, I was handed 2 pizza boxes. When I opened them I had one pizza and one garlic bread. So I went back to tell them that I am missing a pizza. So they said to give them 10 minutes they will make me another one. 15 minutes later they gave me my pizza, which was missing half of the toppings. Went back AGAIN, to tell them this is not what I have paid for ‑ no apologies or anything, just said they will add them raw on top. Utterly disappointed. Will definitely come back again.

Haydens Pub

06/09/2023: Lovely old style Irish pub with there own local brewery ales and stouts. It's only recently opened but seems to be moving in the right direction. Live music on a Saturday night I believe but have yet to sample. I fully expect to be upgrading my review in a few weeks.

B1 pizza

03/10/2024: I'm very appalled with the food ordered taco chips and a chicken fillet burger I was asked do I wouldn't everything on the burger I said yes I got a dried fillet with lettuce and a disgusting sauce the chips were half cooked with minging sauce and a few dots that looked like mince will not order from here again avoid I'm very disappointed
