The food was gorgeous, we had prawns for starter and definitely the most flavour prawns I have ever tasted. The service was quick and friendly. Overall really happy with everything

My partner and I come to this place quite regularly for brunch and lunch. It is by far our favourite place to eat. From the food to the service, it is without a doubt the best place to go if you are ever looking to just sit back, relax and enjoy a meal. It is fairly priced, delicious food, always served to the highest standard. My favourite item on the brunch menu is the French toast and his is the prawn scampi. If you are looking for a tasty brunch in the Monkstown/Dun Laoghaire area, I would 100% recommend and will continue to dine here for the foreseeable ♡

8A is the jewel in the crown of the many Monkstown restaurants because its family owned and ran . Donal always has a warm welcome for his guests and the food is to die for, we highly recommend the Bruschetta, fish of the day and Banoffi pie we return many times over the years. It’s also has a great room upstairs for groups of up to 50 for family events as well as live music . In the summer a great place to sit outside and admire the best view in Monkstown .

chips, were a bit poor, further seasoning could work a treat, Steak was similar.

A wonderful place in Dublin. The food is excellent, the staff very attentive, and the setting super pleasant. Special mention goes to the "Slow-braised feather blade beef" with a glossy and flavorful sauce, extremely tender beef, perfectly buttery mashed potatoes, and subtly crisp vegetables that add bite. A true delight. The portions are generous without being excessive, and you really get your money's worth. A favorite!
