Octopussy's Seafood Tapas in Dublin

We followed the reviews and we weren't disappointed. The service was quick, pleasant, and friendly. There was a sea view. We waited 10 minutes because they're popular, but it was worth it. The products were incredibly fresh.

Octopussy's Seafood Tapas is a fantastic restaurant in the village of Howth. The seafood was very fresh and all the dishes were expertly prepared. The seafood paella and the monk fish & prawn Thai curry stand out dishes. The service is very friendly, overall a wonderful dining experience one of the top on our Irish vacation.

Fresh and really good fish with an excellent quality/price ratio

Everything served here is fresh and delicious, prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The place is very small (about 18 seats), so you may need to wait around 20–30 (or more) minutes, and the line can be confusing, but the seafood is worth it.

Eating this kind of food far from the sea is impossible... Here you eat it with a view of the port. The portions aren't large, but they're delicious.

After a hike at Howthe Cliffs, this place definitely hits the spot. Went over the Easter weekend and there was a queue but it was relatively fast since we opted for an outside seat. The seafood was so fresh and delicious! Only gripe is that they only serve wines and not beer for alcoholic drinks.

After wanting to visit Octopussy for a long time, my partner and I finally made it in on a quiet evening. Despite the popularity, the front-of-house team (two wonderful Blonde and young ladies) had us seated in under two minutes. The food quality is outstanding. The calamari was tender, and the accompanying hot sauce provided the perfect kick. My partner’s chowder was rich and packed with seafood—including calamari, which was a delightful surprise. My Fish and Chips were the perfect nod to Good Friday tradition. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. The ladies running the floor were incredibly charming and made us feel right at home. We can't wait to return!
