The venue is located along the road next to Howth Pier. It was Sunday and it was quite busy... but they served us in a fairly short time. This suburb and town of Dublin is worth a visit. Two splendid seals guarding the port.

Best oysters in Dublin area hands down. As someone who has gone to countless seafood restaurants, I will say Octopussy is up there as one of the best if not the best. While slightly pricey, If you aren't used to this level of spending (although I will say it is well worth it + what I would charge), Bill of anywhere from 60 to €80 for two might hurt. That being said, The oysters are second to none, and the fish and chips are to die for. Pair Your food with a prosecco, And you are living your best life. As for the slightly negative experience, You might run into a line that can be anywhere from 5 minutes to upwards an hour. There is no advanced reservations and there is no telling how long it will take to get in most of the time. If the wait doesn't scare you away, You are in for a treat.

Very nice little restaurant, very fresh fish, dishes are so good, with very interesting combinations of flavours. Nice location,at Howth's port, with a postcard view over Howth. Friendly staff, quick service, prices ok. Not very big,so it tends to get busy, they have seats outside. I definitely recommend it

A very atmospheric place, the food is top notch, in my opinion a must visit! Keep in mind that there is no pre-booking, the wait in line is about 30-40 minutes, but it's worth it.

It's a good place to eat some fish or seafood at a reasonable price. Don't miss the monkfish with prawns and mussels in cream and white wine sauce with parmesan. The fried calamari, of the lot. The dry white wine left a lot to be desired. The best thing was that we ate in the window overlooking the port.

Tang (Dawson Street)

05/04/2024: Such a lovely cosy cafe with very friendly staff. Their pancakes were delicious and, as an Aussie, I can say their coffee really stacks up.
03/04/2024: It's the shawarma you would take your father to. Typical office worker fast food.
