We’ve been to 9 Below twice now on our travels to Dublin. The first time was wonderful service was great and the drinks were delicious.
This last time we went. We went as two groups of 6. They sat us in the bigger room where we all could be together and it was awesome. Until it came down to the actual service. Not sure if it was due to our group size or what. But we were ignored had to find the server if we wanted more drinks and when it was time to pay we noticed they added extra items to our bill. I’m gonna say on accident. But when we brought it to the teams attention we were met with hostility and attitudes that weren’t necessary. (As we weren’t gonna pay for things we never had) So at that point it seemed like they added the items on purpose.
It’s a neat place with a cool vibe and the drinks are tasty. But make sure you track what you order and check your bills

I rented this space for a private event - a welcome party for my guests the evening before our wedding. There were 50 guests total. The staff had space cleared for a small three-piece band beforehand. Communication was amazing beforehand. Food and drink was chosen in advance, which was organized properly as I was able to arrange several calls with Shannan Noonan. She made sure everything was good to go.
I only needed to give a deposit to reserve the space about 6 months in advance, and I asked them if I could give the rest of the minimum spend that was agreed upon (3k) the week before the event, so that it was off of my chest. This was not required by the establishment. You could pay when you got there. You also can limit the spend if you are paying for guests, and you can limit top shelf alcohol, shots, etc. Basically the staff are great at acknowledging your event needs.
I would highly suggest using this unique space to host an event. It was intimate and we all had a blast!
Patio out front was also nice!

So me and my Husband went on our Honeymoon there, as all other Cocktailbars were just too loud or full, it was the perfect idea, the cocktails were great and the shots delicious ,...and yes they have off Menu drinks too ;)... All i can say is just: you need to experience it for yourself

Great bar with a great atmosphere. Cocktails were made with care. The only critique I have is that I didn't understand the concept of the cocktail menu being movie themed, and why nearly everything in it included fruit in one way or another, but the friendly bar staff are more than capable of making anything you desire, so not a big deal.

Absolutely gorgeous place for drinks! Mystery like atmosphere, low lights and amazing cocktails. Just for reference they don’t serve food, so consider not being hungry when you walk in. Excellent place for dates.

Local bartenders weren't so fussed to hype this place up
It's beautiful inside and the staff are friendly. Drinks are presented nicely
But the menu doesn't do it for me. The movie theme seems random, and they don't taste that good. They're just ok
