Came in to Adamsons the day after our wedding with a large group. Fantastic service all day, we were able to order pizzas, wings and chips whenever we needed throughout the day and settle all at the end. Everything was so delicious and speedy out of the kitchen. We had a some vegans in our party who had good options too. Great atmosphere in the bar by the end of the Sunday night too. Ross and all the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout

A little gem in so many ways. 6 people with an abundance of food and drinks €109. Staff are like your friends, basic menu but a good variety of very tasty food. Delighted, they don't serve desserts 🤐 Even had great live music ☘️

Ulster Canal Stores Visitor Centre

27/08/2025: Wonderful place, always feels bit nostalgic there. Always great food, breakfast, lunch or pizza for children. Mine love waffles for breakfast. Beside is wonderful laces art gallery amd a wee shop. Toilets too. There is playground just beside it and outdoor toilets and showers.
24/08/2025: Great staff and great food in the cafe and a lovely place to shop and browse.

Creighton Hotel

14/11/2025: Creighton Hotel is not merely a place to stay, but a vantage point into the layered soul of Clones. The rooms are quiet and balanced, yet stepping outside you encounter the Round Tower whose stones bear the double handwriting of centuries, the High Cross on the Diamond, and the faint memory of Saint Tighernach’s monastery where manuscripts once whispered before vanishing into legend. The town itself carries the scar of the border division, its streets pausing like unfinished sentences, while the Ulster Canal and the ghost of the GNRI railway remind us of plans interrupted and journeys diverted. As W.B. Yeats observed, “The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.” In Clones, that magic is not loud but subtle, found in the silence of stone and the humor of history. To rest here is to join a philosophical dialogue with time itself.
08/11/2025: Excellent value, lovely staff, clean modern rooms
