Adamsons Bar in Clones

They put way too much buffalo on the fries... completely inedible! The pint was good and the pizza looked good!

I had the pleasure of attending an event at Adamsons Bar recently and staying in the newly furnished inn upstairs. For the bar: The pizza and wings are delicious. We had a few different styles of pizza while we were attending the event and it was so good, we ordered a Hawaiian for our room the next day. Excellent selection of beer, wine, ciders and liquor. The service has small town charm with big city professionalism. For the Inn: The rooms are incredibly comfortable, albeit on the cozy size - but this is to be expected for a facility of this age and history. The showers had excellent water pressure and it is clear that there was no expenses spared in the recent renovations. We especially liked all of the bits of history about both the inn and Clones framed on the walls outside each room and in the hallways. Ross made sure we were content, comfortable and well taken care of all with a smile on his face. Before we arrived, he sent me a document with the door codes, local amenities (shout out to the Bean Box!) and instructions on which room we would be in. He made sure to find us in the pub on our first night, introduce himself and made himself available by phone should we need anything. No ask we had seemed to be an issue. The shared kitchen facility and living room area were incredible with a very nice coffee machine, dishes, double basket air fryer, full stove/oven, big screen tv and a rooftop patio with brand new decking. Should we find our way back to Clones from Canada, I will absolutely be sending Ross a message and trying to secure the Drovers room once again.

Stayed in the guesthouse for a weekend while attending a wedding locally. Would not hesitate to recommend. Room very nice - all furniture and fittings clean and new. Same with the shared kitchen/living room area - plus a great balcony/veranda. Lovely staff in the pub downstairs, brilliant atmosphere and food, live music. Ross the owner was really sound, very quick to answer the phone or to pop down if you have any queries. If I'm ever in clones in the future, I will definitely stay here again

We recently held our wedding in Clones, and had reserved a space in Adamsons for our welcome party. Ross was incredible in helping us organise everything. We had guests in from Brazil, Poland & Canada who all had a blast and loved the atmosphere of the bar. The live music was perfect. The food was so good, we ended up ordering pizzas again for our guests at our venue for the Katie Taylor fight. Not only that but we also booked out the upstairs accommodation for some friends attending, they raved about it and loved the experience. Would highly recommend and we’re already looking forward for the chance to return.

Could not fault anything if I tried and I'd be very honest..From the moment you book to the lovely warm greetings on arrival 😊 The staff are a Credit and the Locals are Gas 🤣 made feel very Welcome..The Food is Amazing (would advise booking) or sit at the Bar nobody is Judging..Now where it gets even better OMAG !! The accommodation up stairs is better than a lot of fancy hotels we have stayed in..Firstly the interior design is absolutely Wow👌 What a lot of taught that has went into this 👏 100% to the Establishment the Staff ,Owners and not forgetting the Local Characters 🥰

They were busy with a wedding but still squeezed us in when they saw we were with hungry children! The pizza was first class and the Guinness was as good. Highly recommended

One of the finest pubs in Ireland. Great pizza, great trad, great pints.

Best pizza that I have had in Ireland. They have an Italian pizza oven and import flour from Italy to get as close to real thing as possible. Lovely Irish pub in Clones with traditional bar to front and lounge bar with pizza and sport on TVs in the rear. Also has outside seating.

Excellent food lovely pizzas served by excellent staff We were a large group of 14 all paying individually for food and drink Absolutely no issue with service and food was really good

We spent two evenings there, each with a different atmosphere. Friday: football match followed by a small jam session with three people playing traditional music. Saturday: match with the French national team. The owner moved us to a quieter area to watch the game on TV while the other owners came by to check that everything was alright. The pizzas were delicious and generous. I recommend it 200%!
