Been here a couple of times after prayer at Dublin Mosque 🤲 and usually grab takeaway — always good. But today we dined in with friends 👯‍♂️🍽️ and it hit different 😋. Tried the nihari, haleem and chicken tikka wrap 🌯🍛 — all super good and honestly took me straight back to a proper desi home 🏡🇵🇰🇮🇳. Finished it off with chai ☕✨ — perfect ending. And when your plate is completely wiped clean… you already know how good it was 😄🍽️🔥

I used to go here as a child after Friday prayers. I came back after many years and took my family. The steamed chicken and rice, still tastes amazing. We also got haleem, which was also really good. Will be back Insha'Allah.

Al Khair Restaurant is located in the backyard of the Dublin Mosque in Ireland. According to the owner, it is the first halal restaurant in Ireland. Established in 1985, the menu serves home-cooked dishes adapted from Pakistani cuisine. A portion of lamb biryani costs 15 euros, a large portion that can feed two to four Indonesians. The dining area is quite spacious with plenty of tables and chairs, as well as outdoor seating. The owner, Mr. Juneid, is very friendly and serves customers quickly. Orders arrive promptly. Payments are accepted by card and cash.

Cosy & peaceful little place in the Mosque courtyard serving a variety of food. Fresh & Tasty food. Food has been served here since 1985, when the mosque opened in a repurposed Presbyterian church with a big romanesque-style window.

Irish Film Institute

01/08/2025: Lovely staff last week. Two very friendly blond people male and female on reception Cleaning needed though.
20/07/2025: The documentary on Mairéad Farrell was both sad and poignant. She was a pretty and intelligent girl who ventured down the wrong path, since violence will never resolve any issue. Mairéad should have been united with the late John Hume's ideology, dedicated to peace. If not, she should have moved from Belfast to Dublin. This is an old conflict that I hope will be resolved.

Offbeat Donut Co.

07/10/2025: The pistachio doughnut is to die for. A lot of filling inside, not too sweet, just perfect.
04/10/2025: Staff were very friendly, knew specific prices off the top of their heads. Donuts were fresh. Great service.
