Was in Alfie’s a little while ago. Food was gorgeous but Anna and her service was absolutely amazing, she is so attentive and lovely. This place is great and Anna is the cherry on top. It’s great for such a busy bar to have such amazing and detail driven staff.

06/01/2026: Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed permanently. It will be sadly missed by regular happy customers. See my review below: The best breakfast / lunch restaurant in Monkstown bar none. Everything on the menu is delicious it’s so hard to choose. Super service too! I’m a regular and always will be. Highly recommend an early G&T.
06/12/2025: 3 stars max because the place is cosy and the coffee is good, but I wouldn’t return there for the brunch menu…branch menu is just average and not a good value for money.

20/07/2026: was here for world cup finale and the staff handled adverse circumstances very admirably. shoutout evan(?) who was working bar alone upstairs, he was efficient and also friendly, total champion. not to mention extremely reasonable prices for draught. definitely will be back!
15/07/2026: Nice Irish pub, good atmosphere, quickly met locals, everyone was very nice.
