19/11/2024: BANG is Amazing! I would like to extend a huge thanks for BANG team making everything perfect for our wedding last night. The decorations were set up amazingly, and the food was absolutely delicious.
A big shoutout to Drazen for being our waiter all night. He was incredibly responsive and polite.

16/11/2024: Very nice restaurant, amazing food and very nice service from Valber. We had the tasting menu and enjoyed every single dish. They even made a small extra plate for our anniversary which was really thoughtful

And…. the value for money 👌🏻👌🏻 It’s unusual to come away from a restaurant in Ireland these days genuinely feeling you had a great experience, without having to spend a fortune. But the Black Pig has nailed this. Can’t wait till I’m in Kinsale again. Thanks for taking care of us!
20/10/2024: Dropped in late (9.30pm) for a few glasses of wine and a plate of oysters. A great selection of wines and we weren't disappointed by our choices. Had a dozen oysters that were fresh and delicious.

20/09/2024: Average, style over substance. The tartlet needed more salt. The woodpigeon was disappointing. I had only ever had it pink not as part of an apricot and walnut ballotine. It was overcooked? dry and didn't taste nice. The beef fillet was perfectly cooked but there wasn't enough beef cheek. The liquorice and rhubarb was delicious but I did think it would have been better if the rhubarb had been cooked a little more and was more tender. Initially the service was rushed.
15/09/2024: Very expensive but worth it if you have the money.
Woodpigeon as a starter was very rich in flavour and tastefully decorated.
The rib eye beef was melt in the mouth and had a delicious gravy along with a big Yorkshire pudding.
The chocolate souffle was also amazing, really warm and had caramel inside of it. Also they somehow made popcorn flavoured ice cream.
Would recommend.

12/11/2024: We had a really spectacular meal on our last night in Kenmare. I can't recommend it enough. The food and presentation was top notch, and the service was friendliest and best we had during two weeks in Ireland. Can't wait to return!

First of all, absolutely every dish is amazing. I've been here a couple of times, and it's always the best, rich flavour, super fresh ingredients, stunning presentation.
The service is very good and the atmosphere is friendly and casual, which is a great combination with fine food.
Definitely worth the money. Will return and recommend.
P.S. The warm Guinness bread is amazing.

15/11/2024: Without doubt the best Chowder ever but beware it’s quite substantial!! We then had Bacon & cabbage which was soooo good but I couldn’t finish all my mash hence no desert!! Just lovely wholesome traditional Irish food a must for any visitor. Thanks
