Monk's Lane in Timoleague

Michelle and Gavin and the entire kind staff got on board with our “Orange” themed 60th party we wanted that the table flowers were orange and in abundance, the dishes had orange nasturtiums decorating the plates, the desert was orange posset. There were even loose oranges on the table - talk about going above and beyond. I left it to the professionals and boy did they deliver. Food was incredible, the staff were so helpful and kind too. We had the best night, the birthday girl felt special. If ever you are planning a special night- it was like an event planner took over and relieved me of the stress of organizing. Thankyou Michelle. Our group of four had a fabulous meal last night in Monk's Lane. The food was excellent, great choice in the menu. Service was brilliant. Great buzz in the place. Maitre'd very welcoming and friendly. Overall great experience. Best in West Cork, I'd say!

Monk's Lane has the X Factor for sure!

Absolutely superb meal!!!! The friends we were staying with booked us all in for dinner. Every dish from starters, mains to desserts were amazing! The venue is wonderful as well with very polite relaxed and efficient staff. Highly recommend coming here and we will be back!

Ate here on Saturday last after a christening. We had small kids with us and a large group but the staff were fantastic! Lots of clean plates after we were finished. The pork belly was one of the best I've ever had. Can't recommend enough.

Who knew? Can't fathom why I have not discovered this gem before now. We arrived for a play in the Community Hall and stumbled on Monk's Lane. They were happy we only wanted a small bite in the heat and short time we had. Super starters, all to be recommended. The cappuccino was lovely too. Check out the beer garden, it has the most fabulous flower garden and nooks and crannies to enjoy.🌻 We plan to return for the full experience! 😋

Such a delicious meal as usual at Monks Lane yesterday. The food is so fresh and tasty, the service is excellent and my Irish garden cocktail was delicious. Wont forget the star of the show -the outdoor garden on a day like yesterday- what a setting. We will be back. Thnak you.
