What a place! Nothing could be improved - really lovely, inventive food with such goofs flavours. Huge range of wines which are well priced. Excellent staff - attentive but friendly and laid back. Loved it here so much.

10/10 must try! Delicious food and great atmosphere! Owners are welcoming too!

Visited during our honeymoon. Reservations highly-recommended, but they were able to accommodate us. Sommelier was very friendly and knowlegeable.

The cutest most cosy restaurant. We were lucky enough to get the table by the fire. Very friendly staff who happily helped and advised us well. The plates were absolutely delicious, fresh and appropriately portioned. We would have loved to see more bio / natural wines on the list but were very happy with the bottle we did take : )

Stopped by on our honeymoon and the staff were lovely. They were able to pair all of our food with delicious wine. An amazing experience and delicious food. Can’t wait to be back.

Possibly my favourite restaurant I have ever been to! Wall to wall a fantastic experience. The staff were the absolute highlight - so knowledgeable on both the wine and the food, so friendly and up for giving tips about the area. Each and every dish was delicious, and the wine selection was almost unmatched. It was so cosy and lively at the same time. I will be coming to Kinsale just to visit here again!

Myself and my partner have been going out of our way to go to The Black Pig annually since 2017. We travel up from Dublin. The food and wine does not disappoint ever here. Lots of tapas bits (cheese, fish, meats, pate, bread) while you drink the best glasses of wine you’ve ever had in your life. The atmosphere is always superb and the staff clearly work very hard and take time to chat to customers. If you’re lucky enough to have the prawns and butter on the menu…order them, with extra bread for dipping 🤤. If you’re gonna be a little early - have a drink at the bar before your meal. Our favourite is the Bellini ❤️ Plainly, if you’re in Kinsale - this is the best restaurant in town.
