Black Pig Winebar in Kinsale

Yet another fantastic meal here with a small group of friends. Super food from start to finish, attentive but unobtrusive service from the lovely staff and as ever outstanding wine options.

The Black Pig Wine Bar is a real gem in Kinsale and a must if you enjoy good wine. The selection is excellent and there’s always something interesting to try, whether you’re into classics or want to explore something new. The food was really tasty and well done throughout. Definitely leave room for the crème brûlée -it’s worth it 👌 A big thanks to Siobhan as well for managing to sort a table even without a booking in what was a packed restaurant. Really friendly and helpful service, which made the whole visit even better. I’d happily come back 🍷👍

Couldn't ask anymore of this place! Was absolutely amazing! Location was easy to walk to, the staff were second to none, (we were served by Beth) also the food/drink were amazing!! 10/10 would recommend everyone to go!! Myself and my mum thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!! Pictured is mackerel pâté and then the salmon was so fresh and delicious!

We arrived just before 9pm and without a reservation. Whilst other restaurants in Kinsale had their kitchen closing, The Black Pig welcomed us and we were able to get some food! Food was delicious, we had the Dublin Bay prawns, Burrata, Croquettes and the chicken... it was amazingly good. Definitely would go back, especially for the Burrata!

Due to illness I had to eat here without my partner, something that thanks to the incredibly warm-hearted service, the well-prepared food and the perfect wine recommendation still led to a wonderful evening. I was floored by the treatment I received, the best during our entire trip through Ireland. The food was like a warm hug on a rainy early summer evening. The only downside was that my partner didn't get to experience this with me. Highly recommend!

The food here is nothing short of phenomenal. We ordered a number of small plates and every single one was amazing. The coquettes were a must get as well as the feta and courgette crostini but it was all really tasty. The mutabal was also outstanding and was a winner at our table. The atmosphere was very buzzy and the staff are really helpful. They have a brilliant wine list as well as some nice beer options. It suits both veggies and meat eaters alike as there’s something for everyone. Book well in advance to not miss this fabulous spot.

10/10 experience. Food was divine - the chicken special was one of the best dishes I have had, ever! Service was excellent, beautiful setting & great value. We will be back ❤️❤️
