The Spaniard in Kinsale

The food here was fantastic! The potato cakes, beef & Beamish stew and beer battered fish were all top quality. The fish pie was really good once you added a squeeze of lemon juice but I would go back for the other three dishes. Great Guinness too.

Food was very good, service was friendly, table was sticky (and I really hate that).

The pub is nice. The food is quite good. However, the service is practically nonexistent, even though there were six of us. Two people waited over half an hour for menus and eventually left. The main course of fish cakes is a rip-off in terms of price. It's also less generous than the calamari appetizer.

Really nice place for food and drinks when walking in Kinsale

Very nice pub/restaurant. Perfect for a stop when you're on a walk from Kinsale to Charles fortress.

The food was quite tasty and the staff were super. We ate inside and was comfortable with the AC. Meanwhile, those eating outside in the sunshine were very jovial so they were also enjoying themselves. I highly recommend everyone try them.

Probably the nicest fish pie I have ever had . I was impressed with all the young staff running around the place working so hard at such busy times and having the banter between each other which was lovely to see . It made the restaurant welcoming .
