Had a delicious decaf vanilla cardamom latte and a piece of chai-spiced carrot cake. The carrot cake was good but it was more a white cake with nutmeg than a proper carrot cake. No real complaints from me, though, because it was still yummy. You can't sit inside if you aren't eating a meal which is annoying, if understandable. We sat on the bench outside.

Turnish eggs were gorgeous as recomended (very garlicky so be warned!). Lots of interesting flavours. Wish we'd chosen different dishes so I could have tried more! Reccomend booking in advance - no space to wait inside. Dog allowed so very happy with a lovely brekkie/brunch. Service friendly but not overbearing.

Place was busy so we had to wait a few minutes, however the server/owner not have been more helpful. Small but quality menu. Food arrived promptly and was plentiful. Would recommend either the breakfast focaccia or the tuna melt. Well worth visiting if ever in Kinsale, will be back again!

26/11/2025: My wife and I had a wonderful meal at Jim Edwards. The food and wine was high quality and the service was outstanding!
07/10/2025: I recently took my Wife to Jim Edwards for lunch on 20th September 2025. From start to finish the experience was fantastic and the quality of both food and service was simply superb. We were staying locally and our hostess informed me that this establishment has been in business for a considerable period, that it is Jim's son who is now in charge and that this pub/restaurant has been operating at a very high level as long as she could remember. Very grateful for a lovely experience and incredible food. Looking forward to visiting again.
