29/03/2024: The food was absolutely incredible. The service was brilliant. The decor and atmosphere was just gorgeous.

30/03/2024: This place absolutely deserves the high ratings. My mom and I couldn’t decide what to get, so we both ordered the “seafood platter”, which I think should be called the seafood sampler because it’s samples of the various fish dishes they have on the menu. Really great way to try a bit of everything (some veg also came on the side) and it was delicious. The servers were also all very nice. My only complaint is that they didn’t have any chocolate desserts!

12/03/2024: I have visited this restaurant 6 times in the last 8 months, each time bringing a different group of family or friends to dine with us and it never fails. Anderson’s Boathouse Restaurant is seamlessly run restaurant with the nicest staff and offers a delicious selection of starters, mains, desserts & cocktails. The seafood is the nicest I’ve tasted anywhere in Ireland. This place is not to be taken lightly! When you go, you just want to indulge in all the beautiful food & drinks. The staff are so personal, from the waitresses, to the manager to Garry himself coming out of the kitchen for a chat. Thank you for amazing service and food.. see you again in a few weeks.

02/04/2024: Busy wee place, had to wait on a table, but it was definitely worthwhile !! Seafood chowder and prawn sandwich was fantastic, also had the Fish takes and garlic potatoes, all was spot on and the craic was good!! Staff and owner and people were lovely, definitely worth the visit!! 2 Main meals and 4 drinks for less than €55!! Will return during summer.

02/04/2024: I'd give this café 6 Stars if I could, because he is the only place I found (so far) in Ireland, that had Lactose Free (Cows) Milk. And the coffee tasted good to by the way, I could have a cappuccino instead of that gungy americano I have to substitute for if they don't have this milk as I cannot have the alternatives. Top Stuff!, Cheers.

25/03/2024: Beautiful coffee spot. But too many people were waiting to be served and the staff tried their best, which was not enough. No space to sit, probably was a busy hour but you think the owner could do something to make it bigger and accommodate more people. The coffee itself was amazing 👏

27/03/2024: Be warned: It’s difficult to leave this place. I think it’s just got everything. One of the greatest pubs in Ireland!

One of the best dinners of recent times (in general, not in Ireland), non-obvious dishes very well executed with excellent products, warm and relaxed environment (we ate in the pub downstairs and almost preferred it), exceptional service (friendliness, courtesy and professionalism to spare). And after dinner great music. You can't ask for much more... I wish I had a place like this close to home!! Thank you very much, really!!

13/02/2024: The Bridge is authentic and quaint, with a great pint and friendly team. Brid was an absolute lady and Gavin is always bright and cheery. It is a family affair. Apart from the great hospitality, the food is really good. In 30 years of eating here we never got a bad meal and always enjoyed every single visit. Tell them I sent you 👍

23/03/2024: Food was so tasty, the fish goujons were ginormous! The breaded mushrooms were delicious also. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come back!

I cycled from Mizen to Malin and everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Especially with coordinating and helping me get a bus back home. Thanks again! I'll be back!

26/03/2024: My friend and i stopped for a snack here on Saturday afternoon They had a birthday party and music definitely craic agus ceol .i happened to say to gentleman taking our order it was a coincidence it was my bithday aswell .i didn't expect what was to come ! They sang happy birthday to me when bar manager up giving a few 🎵 Then girls came out with birthday cake and candles singing happy birthday 🎂 i was astounded at there friendliness and lovely jesture I was overwhelmed What a lovely place and equally lovely friendly people.

19/11/2023: This is a review i don’t want to leave I have always really liked Leo’s and have always recommended to any family & friends that are visiting but today the food was terrible I was shocked it was so bad. I got a steak sandwich was meant to be a 6oz sirloin on ciabatta bread at best it was a thin piece of frying steak max 2oz on a bit of normal baguette ( that’s me being really generous photo attached) partner got a chicken stir fry the chicken was terrible either microwaved or really low grade chicken my son got a chicken curry his was the same tasted like a microwave curry. I don’t know if the kitchen has changed but this really was the worst meal Iv had that I can remember and Leo’s was always so nice. if this is the quality il not be back and il not recommend it to anyone again so many nice places to eat locally. I was not charged for the steak sandwich and rightly so and to be honest I wouldn’t pay for the stir fry or curry again such a shame used to be a real gem.

29/03/2024: We discovered this precious gem walking by Donegal Bay just after parking our car. We had a wonderful savoury meal for our family of four! Our host Jo, was so delightful and helpful that we naturally chose food that was full of flavour and very satious. We highly recommend: grilled goat's cheese salad, smoked salmon arancini, king prawn gratin, quay west signature killybegs smokies and parmagiana chicken. Our desserts were spectacular, being: the "infamous" crunchy dessert and the chocolate and almond vegan brownie. All were equally delicious and very well presented. The wine list was sufficiently varied and not too extreme in value. We were sad not to see any Portuguese wine - our personal bias ... Indeed the professionalism and positive energy of the staff was heartwarming. We felt privileged to see the beautiful view of the harbour from the upper level of this very elegant and confortable restaurant.
