06/09/2026: Excellent, welcoming, traditional pub with friendly, dynamic staff. Easy to get to from Malin Head. Fast service and simple, yet tasty food. A couple of gluten-free options are also available. For the price, it's excellent value.

13/08/2026: One of the best seafood chowder i have had. Ate there 3 nights in a row but avoid Wednesday when the pub fare is not available and a pizza company takes over for the night. Unless of course you like pizza but i thought they were rather bog standard.

07/08/2026: Just the perfect Irish Pub. Great bar; lots of small rooms making an excellent, but intimate, atmosphere; wonderful beer and very good food. The service is as friendly and helpful as you will find anywhere. I had the fish and chips with mushy peas which were very good.

10/09/2026: Great Guinness food was excellent, good pub grub. You had to wait a while but definitely worth the wait. No music when we were there, but friendly welcoming staff.

11/08/2026: Booked a table for 14 and landed and they said they thought we said 2. Didn’t even have room for a table of 14. 14 doesn’t even sound like 2. A women stopped me outside saying they did the same to them last week. Got told tonight they turned away another table of 12 after making a booking also! Ridiculous

30/08/2026: I found Nancy’s Barn on Google Maps while looking for a place to have a late lunch after a day touring the Northern Irish Coast. We are on holiday from the USA and places like Nancy’s Barn are making our trip special. It’s a gem that’s off the beaten path and just down the road from Malin Head. The menu is creative and the chowder is definitely a star (with a rich history). The fish tacos were quite tasty and prepared perfectly - they go well with onion rings. And I really enjoyed the apple crumble to finish off the meal. The staff are friendly and fast. We got to meet Kieran (the owner) on the way out and that made our visit even better. He’s so energetic and nice and really proud of his restaurant. Do yourself a favor and stop here if you’re in the area.
