12/09/2026: A group of 12 of us had dinner here tonight. The atmosphere was convivial, the food options were diverse and everything tasted great. The service was exceptional β very attentive.
10/09/2026: We went there on the recommendation of our B&B owner. It was fantastic β the food, the service, everything. The quality was amazing, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

17/08/2026: Been working in killybegs, and since last week been coming here to eat , the food brilliant, service brilliant , and staff excellent actually the best especially Kalla, iv left my heart in Mellys cafe, hope to return next year

We Stayed in The Bay View on the June bank holiday and it was a fantastic place! Huge thanks to Seamus and all his staff who look after us after our original accommodation fell through π

23/04/2025: Nice decor, passable food, subpar service. Doesn't add up to justify the hefty price tag. Thinks itβs more than it is. Disappointing experience overall.
04/04/2025: Passing through Killybegs one evening, we called in to Tara Hotel restaurant for an evening meal. The staff were excellent , the premises were recently revamped to a high standard. The food was excellent with large portions and we would certainly recommend this venue.
