02/06/2026: The food is lovely, but my partner ordered the fish plater for โฌ40. We were not impressed. Usually a plater we share, and it is served on a plater not a plate, which it barely covered as photo shows. Very expensive for what he got. The service was good but the manageress was very pushy.

04/11/2025: Lovely Coffee House and Cafe, the staff were extremely friendly.Food was excellent, great breakfast and breakfast bap was the best Iโve ever had, would definitely go back!

24/10/2025: Visit Marina Cafe today, great service, staff were super friendly and efficient. Food was fabulous we had the Chicken Goujons which came with chips and a beautiful salad. Highly recommend this cafe, you must stop if your in Killybegs. Keep up the great work, I will definately be returning, Thank you

16/09/2025: Spent 3 days at this Inn and love it. They even put a fridge and microwave in the room for us. The staff and owners couldn't do enough for you. And the Trans night is a must

29/06/2026: A stop at Killybegs on a Cruise. Ahoy Cafec was very busy so we had to wait a long time for the food. However the staff were incredibly friendly, the Chowder was delicious and packed full of different sea food and the Fish Goujons were amazing. There may be better options for a wider range of Sea Food in Killybegs, however not all places are open every day. No idea if the wait is common, but we were in no rush and the food was worth it.
26/06/2026: Very disappointed. Not the first time having to wait 30 minutes for food. โฌ14 for the breakfast hash which was 3 small chopped potatoes covered with a bag of rocket and 2 eggs, all cold and bland. Table wasn't wiped down from last customers and alot of flies in the toilets. Won't be back, not The Ahoy of old.

We Stayed in The Bay View on the June bank holiday and it was a fantastic place! Huge thanks to Seamus and all his staff who look after us after our original accommodation fell through ๐

23/04/2025: Nice decor, passable food, subpar service. Doesn't add up to justify the hefty price tag. Thinks itโs more than it is. Disappointing experience overall.
04/04/2025: Passing through Killybegs one evening, we called in to Tara Hotel restaurant for an evening meal. The staff were excellent , the premises were recently revamped to a high standard. The food was excellent with large portions and we would certainly recommend this venue.
