16/07/2026: Loved the place was having a low Sugar diabetes attack they help with can of coke and a chair and then I ordered my fish chips and curry sauce with tartar sauce 😋
15/07/2026: The best fish and chips I've ever had in my life. Such friendly service and unbelievable how tasty the food is! I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

12/07/2026: Great food, but the day we went was a hot day. The restaurant was stiflingly hot and they seen to have a problem with insects. We all spent the whole night sweating and trying to fend off hoardes of hungry flies. Spoiled it for us. At the end we were glad to get outside for some cool air and to get away from the flies.
Shame as it's such good food.
Please invest in a fly zapper or something.

31/07/2026: Family and I got some hot chocolates each, the scenery was lovely and the flowers were gorgeous the servers were nice. However our server put down one of our hot chocolates messing all of it in the saucer and she did bring napkins however with the amount in the plate it was unpleasant to deal with and a server should take it back and clean the cup and provide a new saucer for best customer experience. All the “hot” chocolates were luke warm to cold after just being put down.( we had no hesitation to drink so it wasn’t made properly) otherwise lovely cafe.
31/07/2026: Nice little café. It's better to sit inside and the service is faster, but the staff is friendly and the food, although the portions are a bit small, is really delicious.

We Stayed in The Bay View on the June bank holiday and it was a fantastic place! Huge thanks to Seamus and all his staff who look after us after our original accommodation fell through 👍

23/04/2025: Nice decor, passable food, subpar service. Doesn't add up to justify the hefty price tag. Thinks it’s more than it is. Disappointing experience overall.
04/04/2025: Passing through Killybegs one evening, we called in to Tara Hotel restaurant for an evening meal. The staff were excellent , the premises were recently revamped to a high standard. The food was excellent with large portions and we would certainly recommend this venue.
