Ahoy Cafe in Killybegs

A stop at Killybegs on a Cruise. Ahoy Cafec was very busy so we had to wait a long time for the food. However the staff were incredibly friendly, the Chowder was delicious and packed full of different sea food and the Fish Goujons were amazing. There may be better options for a wider range of Sea Food in Killybegs, however not all places are open every day. No idea if the wait is common, but we were in no rush and the food was worth it.

Had a chicken /chorizo with jalapeño dressing plus hot chip. Delicious! Staff very friendly, restaurant had a good vibe. If in area well worth a visit!

Overall, a very nice café with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious and the prices absolutely fair. However, the selection was already somewhat limited at 4:00 PM, which slightly dampened the overall impression. Nevertheless, a highly recommended place for a relaxing break.

Called in for lunch which was excellent. Good service and friendly staff.

We stopped here for lunch and food was so good! I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and chips. The chicken was so crispy! Definitely recommend, it was so delicious 😋

Absolutely brilliant fish and chips! Very fresh! Chips are brilliant, best we've had in a long time in any restaurant. Specials are a bit different and very tasty too! Highly recommend calamari tacos, tender and juicy, with piquant seasoning. 5 star ⭐
