Ahoy Cafe in Killybegs

5 stars on all fronts! Delicious coffee too! If you're use to Aussie coffee, you'll want to stop here!

Nice little café. It's better to sit inside and the service is faster, but the staff is friendly and the food, although the portions are a bit small, is really delicious.

Family and I got some hot chocolates each, the scenery was lovely and the flowers were gorgeous the servers were nice. However our server put down one of our hot chocolates messing all of it in the saucer and she did bring napkins however with the amount in the plate it was unpleasant to deal with and a server should take it back and clean the cup and provide a new saucer for best customer experience. All the “hot” chocolates were luke warm to cold after just being put down.( we had no hesitation to drink so it wasn’t made properly) otherwise lovely cafe.

Great spot for your morning coffee

Enjoyed a delicious lunch here. The seafood chowder was excellent, and my companions who had the fish and chips said it was very good, too.

It was by chance that we found ourselves seated in this heavenly place, among ebullient company, and among wonderfully ethereal scones. Lightning rarely strikes thrice, yet I am confident that it happens regularly here.

A stop at Killybegs on a Cruise. Ahoy Cafec was very busy so we had to wait a long time for the food. However the staff were incredibly friendly, the Chowder was delicious and packed full of different sea food and the Fish Goujons were amazing. There may be better options for a wider range of Sea Food in Killybegs, however not all places are open every day. No idea if the wait is common, but we were in no rush and the food was worth it.

Had a chicken /chorizo with jalapeño dressing plus hot chip. Delicious! Staff very friendly, restaurant had a good vibe. If in area well worth a visit!
