First time trying Irish breakfast. Never got better place than this. Food was really yummy and good. Took cappuccino with breakfast.

Has to be the best cafe in county Donegal. The breakfast is unreal. Staff are all very friendly and well trained. Wonderful.

Charlie's West End Cafe was exactly what we were looking for, a great spot for a simple, tasty breakfast. The food was fresh, well-cooked, and hit the spot without being overcomplicated. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and there was no wait for a table or our food, making it the perfect place to grab a quick bite before starting the day. If you're after a good breakfast, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend stopping by!

13/08/2026: One of the best seafood chowder i have had. Ate there 3 nights in a row but avoid Wednesday when the pub fare is not available and a pizza company takes over for the night. Unless of course you like pizza but i thought they were rather bog standard.
07/08/2026: Just the perfect Irish Pub. Great bar; lots of small rooms making an excellent, but intimate, atmosphere; wonderful beer and very good food. The service is as friendly and helpful as you will find anywhere. I had the fish and chips with mushy peas which were very good.

Kate's Kitchen Newtown

14/10/2026: I had been struggling to find somewhere to buy the large boxes of kosher salt apart from Amazon until I came across Kate’s Kitchen online. With the free shipping over €60 offer I put 3 kosher salt in the basket and easily found other items we needed in the house (at very good prices) to bring it above the €60. I was more than happy to give the business to an Irish company rather than to Amazon. Thank you, Kate’s Kitchen, and I will be sure to plan a trip to Sligo so I can visit the physical shop soon as well ❤️
28/08/2026: I ordered a few things from the online store and they reached my hands in Dublin less than 24 hours later. Great prices - products exactly what I was looking for, at a very reasonable price - Super communication and updates throughout. A superbly enjoyable (and rare!) experience. Would happily recommend.
