09/05/2025: It's a small cosy cafe we see while we were driving from Letterkenny, Ireland to see Glenveagh Castle.
Only 2 persons can sit inside. There is ome sitting arrangements in the garden outside. But since it was raining that day so we bought coffee and sandwich and sat in our car.
Coffee was very nice. Sandwich and Focaccia bread with olives were super tasty.
It's not a posh place but if you are like us who love cosy cafes that serve homemade freshly baked items, then you must try this 🙂
20/04/2025: We arrived on site, looking forward to sitting in and having ourselves a good hearty breakfast and coffee after our morning walk along a local beach.
Only to find out that they closed down the breakfast counter January'25.
We did end up having a good takeaway sandwich made fresh with an OK coffee.

22/04/2025: An atmospheric pub on the shore of the Atlantic. Amazing views from the terrace. The food was served very quickly, although it is not typical Irish cuisine, but very tasty. Prices do not strain the budget too much.

21/04/2025: Absolutely delicious food!! So many tasty breakfast / brunch options. Lots of baked goods too. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and really go the extra mile to make the whole experience better. My only criticism is that they mainly stock Coca-Cola products. Would be nice to see other options as most people are boycotting this company. They do have Mc Daid's football special though so it's an overall win in every category. I highly recommend the garlic fries, made with chunks of fresh garlic.

The Rusty Oven
02/06/2025: A pub we stopped at on the way to the cliffs, it really catches your eye thanks to its classic, well-kept exterior and the many awards displayed outside.
Prices are slightly above average (fish and chips €22, pizza €17), but the portions make it worth it—we shared one fish and chips between two people.
We also ordered a lamb shank, which was amazing—the meat melted in the mouth—and a tomato soup, which I was told was very good.
Given the location so close to the sea, I expected a wider selection of seafood, but there were only about three options.
Overall, a positive experience.

09/05/2025: Went in to have two coctails before we went to bingo. Sat at table was greeted by lovley young girl asked if we could see menu. She brought the menus, we were gonna get two coctails which would have been 40quid .while choosing the girl
Came back over and told us its owners policy that they don’t serve alcohol without food ? The place was empty , you would think they would have been glad of the business. I looked around and thought no wonder it’s empty, there’s a sign out front says coctails ??? Very confusing!

26/12/2024: Exquisite authentic Curries; great juicy burgers & delicious fish & chips! The pizza is really good too, with a homemade dough and great toppings.
