Lobster Pot in Ailt an chorráin

Busy wee place, had to wait on a table, but it was definitely worthwhile !! Seafood chowder and prawn sandwich was fantastic, also had the Fish takes and garlic potatoes, all was spot on and the craic was good!! Staff and owner and people were lovely, definitely worth the visit!! 2 Main meals and 4 drinks for less than €55!! Will return during summer.

A delightful little place - warm and welcoming, good food, friendly service. A warm respite on a windy, cold day. We enjoyed the seafood chowder (cream-based, full of fish and potato), the stuffed mushrooms, the fish and chips (fresh, light batter), and the Hennessy chicken. Glad we made the trip.

What you eat does what the name promises. We are very satisfied. From ribs to whole lobster, all the food was great. To recommend!

Delicious, mouthwatering food and warm, friendly staff make this a memorable dinner. The owner and his wife, told us all about hiw the seafood is sourced locally. The sauces are to die for, we were a large family and we ate steak, seafood and duck... and those chips!!! So crunch, they must have been triple fried. The kids and adults were well looked after and extremely happy. This is a wonderful spot well worth a drive, even if you're not on the way to Arranmore. Burtonport and surrounds are stunning.
