Always busy in main area. Great selection of beers, Guiness was top quality, and the pizzas are pretty good.

The Drift Inn is a brilliant spot — especially for the rugby. There’s always a great atmosphere on match days, plenty of energy, and good banter all around. The pizzas are excellent when they’re on (definitely worth getting), though they’re not always available — so worth checking ahead. Great staff, friendly crowd, and proper good craic. A top local.

11/07/2026: Oscars is a charming little cafe in Buncrana. I went for a bowl of vegetable soup and a chips with pepper sauce. My partner went for a fish and chips with garlic potatoes. The portion sizes were great and the food was very nice. Gluten-Free options and staff are knowledgeable about allergens. The staff were very pleasant and smiley and it made us feel at home after a long traveling day. The soup was good and my partner enjoyed her fresh fish very much. The garlic potatoes and pepper sauce was the highlight! We would return again next time we were in town.

Tank and Skinny's Seaside

10/07/2026: Many years ago over half a decade i arrived here with friends to sit down and chill and i was greeted by the most kind and welcoming women who was so nice as to give me a free water which inspired me to try the food because i didnt want ti leave without buying anything after her service and then i had the most amazing food i have ever had and even better views of the ocean 10/10
