Went for food this week to be told they were in between chefs and none available, which is fine, but should have been better advertised as there are still signs up advertising food.

Visiting Buncrana. Went to 3 pubs. The cottage, o'flathery's and the drift inn. Best pint a guinness was in the drift. I didn't see another beast drinking guinness, so I was slightly concerned, but it was top class. I'd give it an 8.7. Cottage was muck, not even an 8

Lake of Shadows Hotel

29/08/2024: A great family run hotel in the heart of Buncrana.
01/07/2024: The hotel is smashing. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were so helpful. I would like to thank Liz at the reception in particular for being friendly, professional and very helpful. Food was lovely too. The location is also excellent and so close to the beach. I would highly recommend staying when in Buncrana. We will definitely be back.

Tank and Skinny's Seaside

06/09/2024: We just love this place! We keep going back. Watching the sun glinting on the water on a beautiful day. Not to mention the excellent food and service. Always hits the mark 👍
03/09/2024: Had the hungar mother bacon uneecooked for my liking and big fat rind had to remove from sandwich egg overcooked also removed, soup was lovely
