04/04/2024: Fantastic time unbelievable staff. Food was amazing and I mean brilliant warm comfortable beds loaded with pillows beach just across the road would differently return to the harbour.

23/03/2024: Great cafe with a beautiful view of the countryside. We had cappucino and large, very tasty scones. It has vegetarian and vegan options.

01/04/2024: Didn't rate the food as I didn't have any. We had an amazing time the last 2 years here. Such a good atmosphere the staff is so friendly and you get served right away. The front outside of the bar always looks amazing, and there was live music both times we were there, one being Johnny Brady, which was held in the back area, which is absolutely massive. And the other was a man and his guitar, and it was a brilliant night. Highly recommended

01/04/2024: Had a brilliant stay here. Staff where so nice and helpful in the reception. Took a while to get served at the bar and when I got my guinness the pint glass was dirty so couldn't drink it. Spa facilities where lovely and clean

01/04/2024: We were a party of 4 and have just had the most wonderful dining experience. We were greeted by Marie who showed us to our seats and took our order. The food was out of this world, absolutely fabulous. The bar staff were on point. Thank you Sara - Jane. All I can say is don't miss this, well worth a visit.

01/04/2024: My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights over Easter. We will absolutely be planning to come back again.
The rooms are very comfy, cosy, and warm.
We had breakfast every morning and an evening meal every night and the food was absolutely gorgeous.
But best of all were the staff. Every single one of them from reception to waiting staff were so so genuinely friendly and helpful.
What a gem of a hotel and a credit to Buncrana.
25/03/2024: I hadnt been in The Lake of Shadows for years, i couldn't believe how nice the Hotel was inside an as we had heard good reports on their restaurant we decided to try it out last Friday for a late lunch.
They have a good varied menu, the food was fresh and cooked to taste, the portions were also very good.
We will definitely call again, as the evening menu looked very inviting.
