We were here recently on a trip to Donegal. The coffee and food was delicious, they had their own twist on a breakfast wrap which was tasty and filling. The coffee was some of the nicest we had anywhere. Amazing views, lively atmosphere. It was a Monday 11am ish and the queue was never ending the whole time we were there. Check it out!

Delicious late morning stop for scones and coffee before the lough Swilly ferry ride. Friendly staff with quick seating and a phenomenal latte! I wish there was time to go back for some other treats or for a beautifully settings for a lunch on a nice day.

View was lovely. I requested roof or windows to be opened because it became too warm when the sun came out. I have heat intolerance which I don't like stating every time I need cool air, the first waitress I asked to open the windows or roof said sure I waited about five minutes until another waitress came by and I asked again wich i was the told that the manager had said no and I was not told. a few minutes later the windows were opened when someone else complained.

Had lunch here on Bank Holiday Monday ! The whole experience was excellent. The restaurant is in the most beautiful place overlooking the sea and amazing views. The Staff were exceptional and handled a very busy spot with charm and efficiency. Dean, the restaurant Manager was how all Mangers should be but rarely are. He was charm personified, seating people with outstanding efficiency, a smile / laugh and good humoured attitude - running the restaurant like a Conductor in a well tuned orchestra ! Thanks Dean from the 3 “ girls” from Cavan.

13/08/2026: Lovely restaurant for a family meal. Food is very good, and the staff were helpful - accommodated us quickly without a reservation, and were attentive and friendly.
11/07/2026: Oscars is a charming little cafe in Buncrana. I went for a bowl of vegetable soup and a chips with pepper sauce. My partner went for a fish and chips with garlic potatoes. The portion sizes were great and the food was very nice. Gluten-Free options and staff are knowledgeable about allergens. The staff were very pleasant and smiley and it made us feel at home after a long traveling day. The soup was good and my partner enjoyed her fresh fish very much. The garlic potatoes and pepper sauce was the highlight! We would return again next time we were in town.

14/09/2026: Iconic bar, great thyme. Busy but quiet corners for chats etc great pint
01/09/2026: We had our Day 2 at The Drift Inn, mostly using the back patio. It was a perfect space, the staff were so accommodating and friendly, they sorted us out with a microphone and speakers for our pub quiz. The food was great. Would recommend!
