Sherpa Indian & Nepalese Restaurant in Buncrana

Tikka Masala tasted nice but way too sweet. Biryani was delicious. We were given a table in front of the kitchen (and there was a suitable one free further away) and now our clothes STINK of fat. The waitress was nice but in a terrible hurry and seemed either overworked or overwhelmed or both. All in all, not horrible at all but I would not go back.

It was recommended to us and very glad it was... top class food and service.. we will be back.

My family and me went to Sherpa for the diner. We weren’t expecting anything but we were really surprised, the food was really nice and the portion were big. We were served by a Ukrainian lady, who was so nice and professional. We really appreciated our food there, I recommend this place.

Happened across this place by chance but will certainly be back. Although you might recognise most of the names of the dishes they are made more authentically than you normal Irish/Indian restaurants. The food had a freshness that only comes from cooking grub scratch. The floor staff are attentive but not intrusive.

Lovely spot. Staff very nice people.

Hands down one of the best Nepalese and Indian restaurants I’ve ever tried. The food was full of authentic flavours, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and rich, especially the curries and momos—they were outstanding. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for genuine Nepalese and Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The goat restaurant of Buncrana!
