23/11/2024: The reason it got 4 stars is the premise was cold on arrival at 6pm ( it doesn’t open at 17:30 as stated on trip adviser ) I had the Chicken supreme and better half had the fish and chips. Have to say very tasty. We were served by Anastasia who was very polite, moving us to a warmer position etc. I recommend Nivana, but leave to a bit later if weather is cold

16/08/2025: Absolutely best time ever! Met several new friends and had amazing conversations and laughs!

20/04/2025: We went in here as group of 7 adults and 2 children on a Sunday. Excellent place. Service was excellent, food was lovely. Had to be nearly rolled out the door I was that full.

30/09/2025: Castle Grove Country House is my favourite Irish country home sitting on the shores of Lough Swilly in Co Donegal. You arrive a stranger and leave as a friend. The warmth of the welcome is unrivalled; the beauty of this historical home to the Sweeney family is captivating and I love to call it my home away from home. Eat here, drink here and sleep here while you experience Donegal - my favourite destination in the world.

05/11/2025: Cute place. They were done serving food but the fireplace was going and they told us to order apollo pizza to have it delivered there. Nice!

10/07/2025: We stopped at this lovely spot on our little road trip around the Atlantic way, it was a brilliant find. It looked so interesting from outside. The purple building with the craft stall, and sign with frieda kahla. We had two dogs with us and we were allowed to sit outside with them. We were welcomed by the lovely owner, who promptly told us there were fresh scones out of the oven and she had made apple and plum cake fresh that day. We were surprised the menu was vegetarian, but it was not a problem. The food was absolutely delicious!! I got the cheese and onion panini and it had mustard and relish and was so delicious. The cake was phenomenal! I also had a mocha. And it was the best I’d had this whole week! The stall out the front sells the owners crafts, there is lovely adult and children’s clothes. I got a dress for my niece and an apron for myself. I can’t wait to go back on our yearly visit to Downings!

05/07/2025: Lovely place for a break, all home cooked, fresh food, great selection of food and a very helpful and friendly service.

29/09/2025: The restaurant was closed even though the website said it was open. We drove 40+ km out of our way to find this place closed.

05/06/2025: Went to Inish fushion this evening with family. 04/06/25. Can't fault anything at all with the place. Very quaint and homely. Food was delicious and served by very friendly staff. Great choices on the menu. Definitely worth trying again to test some more desserts😊. Reasonable priced also.

29/08/2025: Beyond impressed- placed an online order Thursday and it was delivered to Dublin on Friday. Great selection of products, extremely fast delivery, and reasonable prices. Love it!

05/10/2025: Great food and atmosphere here. Haven't actually stayed the night (we live in a motorhome, so have no need), we tend to just come for a drink or a bite to eat. Staff very friendly and efficient, Guinness is spot on, and the food delicious.

21/09/2025: Called in for Sunday Dinner, have to say the food was absolutely delicious all round perfect.. Soup, dinner and dessert 🍨 fabulous 👌 will be back again. Thanks.

17/10/2025: Great service, food was excellent. We had the fish pie, Shepherds pie and Banoffee pie. A little gem hidden away above McGee’s shop .

25/09/2025: The place is located on the first floor inside a shop, with a super cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and incredible food. The dishes were well-served (fair portions, not too much or too little), and the coffee was wonderful (the machine is well-tuned and they make the coffee well). The best breakfast I've had in Ireland.

27/10/2025: Great chips. Faster cooking than McDonald's at lunchtime today, about 3min. Chips homemade so nice my picky daughter even ate some.

27/10/2025: Visit to letterkenny last week Best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Batter was so light and haddock was melt in the mouth.
