A little bit of heaven in the heart of the lovely Glenties. Fabulous food, excellent service. So looking forward to our upcoming big day. The hotel has been so accommodating to all our requests. An excellent choice for so many different occasions
Just stayed for the one night sadly , staff couldn't do enough and very friendly.Broke down on the way there and staff couldn't be more helpful with taxis and any thing else we needed.
Highly recommend a stay or drop in for the food couldn't be faulted
Quaint hotel in Gentiles town. The best roast dinner I've had in years! The lamb was cooked to perfection and everything was very flavoursome. Cosy atmosphere with a lovely open fire. I ate here as a child when we caravaned in nearby Rosbeg and am delighted to see it still going - clearly a popular a well-loved establishment by locals and tourists alike βΊοΈππ thank you.
My Mum, children and I all visited this hotel for the first time on All Saints Day for dinner. At reception, we were asked had we booked a table, which we hadn't but were seated at one of the available tables in the bar. My Mum ordered the Oven baked Salmon (β¬21), I ordered the seafood platter (β¬24.95) and the kids shared a kids burger and chips (β¬7.50). The seafood platter consisted of hot fish on a bed of mash and was 10/10. Divine. Oodles of fish: mackerel, seatrout, hake, crab claws, mussels and Prawns. I ordered a side of garlic potatoes which were melt in the mouth. Portion was hearty and very filling and I struggled to finish all despite forgoing a starter and having a significant beach walk at Dooey earlier. My Mum savoured her salmon and the kids devoured the burger. We got a glass of milk, tonic water and jug of Miwadi for the table. The bill came to just over β¬61. Highly recommended especially the seafood platter which was one of the best I've ever had. On leaving, we were informed that they do Steak night on a Thursday and Italian night on a Friday and were asked did we want to reserve a table. Overall, I was very impressed with the food here and would return.
