Great cocktails, nice desserts and lovely staff

Really surprised to find several vegan options at a pub in such a small town. I had the vegan Thai curry, which was really nice, served with rice and fries (an unexpected pairing but it worked ;) My partner had the vegetarian spice bag, which he said was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly throughout, and the place was very clean. Would recommend if you're vegan or vegetarian and passing through, better options than you'd expect in a small countryside town.

We were completely satisfied! The burgers were truly delicious and prepared with great care. You can tell that they place a high value on quality and taste. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly as well. Overall, a fantastic visit with excellent food; we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I normally eat here when we visit. We used to love it but no longer. My wife asked for vegetables as there were none with her meal and was given really paltry portion of carrot and broccoli. I ordered the burger and chips. The burger was made commercially by a butcher and was very ordinary. The chips were frozen and pretty tasteless. In terms of quality, the place has gone downhill and the prices have gone up. They didn’t even have Orchard Thieves cider!

A huge pub over 4 levels with plenty of dining space, great drinks and fabulous views over the estuary. There are many TV screens throughout for all the sports enthusiasts.
