01/10/2026: Excellent service and made welcome. Looked after the dog with water and biscuits. Good atmosphere 👌

15/09/2026: We stayed here for 3 days. Room 6 is very spacious for the two of us and the dog. The rooms are right next to the bar, but it doesn't bother you. We slept well on the rather hard beds with the rushing river nearby. The Wi-Fi is downright bad. The kitchenette with a kettle, teapot, fridge, microwave, and hotpot is fine, but there is very little cutlery. Spacious living room with a sofa, small table, and 2 chairs. The bathroom is spacious, but unfortunately, the toilet bowl is loose and there is no soap or shampoo provided. The motion-sensor lighting is very annoying; it doesn't detect you when you are standing in the shower cubicle, so you are showering in the dark after just 1 minute! We have no idea about the quality of the food or drinks in the bar since we are out and about all day. There are many shops nearby. EV charging is also available close by. There is a tourist information office in the church on the corner.

26/09/2026: We had a delicious meal at this place years ago. This time, 1 dish was tasty, while 2 were quite unimaginative and bland. No vegetables whatsoever, not even some raw vegetables. 1 waitress was super friendly and cheerful, and 1 had a face like a grumpy old man. The atmosphere is otherwise okay, though you do have to like a lot of screens with constant advertising...

22/08/2026: Lovely Chinese food and reasonably priced, it’s also quite nice to sit in for a meal. The lady owns it is always really friendly too.

16/08/2026: -I loved it. The staff are very friendly and the food is incredible. KEPP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS -2021 - After 5 years, ive decided to make another review on the lucky-inn. It is still the greatest Chinese restaurant in the north west of Ireland, if not all of Ireland. Keep up the amazing work. -2026

02/06/2026: Great hotel rooms very modern location amazing. Service was good. Was in a package but found the residents menu was quite limited mainly fish,only one chicken dish and 1 meat dish which was steak which incurred a supplement . Though good we got was good.

10/05/2026: Stayed with a large group this weekend. The hotel and staff went out of their way to accommodate an early start for an event we were taking part in. Location is stunning. The food was outstanding.. special mention to Justin and Rihanna They were so lovely and enjoyed themselves along with the group in the evening ❤️👍 Home from home. look forward to a return visit soon
