Lovely Chinese food and reasonably priced, it’s also quite nice to sit in for a meal. The lady owns it is always really friendly too.

-I loved it. The staff are very friendly and the food is incredible. KEPP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS -2021 - After 5 years, ive decided to make another review on the lucky-inn. It is still the greatest Chinese restaurant in the north west of Ireland, if not all of Ireland. Keep up the amazing work. -2026

Very tasty food, relaxed atmosphere with very good staff. I can't fault this restaurant, it's not trying to be anything special other than a Chinese restaurant that sells pretty good food. I'd happily go back again with my family.

Service was fast, food was very nice and well cooked well worth eating eating from here. We had a takeaway so no comment on the atmosphere.

I really like this place, every time we visit Donegal, we always pop in for a takeaway. Not often you can find a very basic yet delicious veggie meals, but you can count on the Lucky Inn.

Unreal food. Also if youre nit sure what to get to feed 6 people, try matching the set menu and a munch box together. Really good food, stuffed.

27/08/2026: Really surprised to find several vegan options at a pub in such a small town. I had the vegan Thai curry, which was really nice, served with rice and fries (an unexpected pairing but it worked ;) My partner had the vegetarian spice bag, which he said was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly throughout, and the place was very clean. Would recommend if you're vegan or vegetarian and passing through, better options than you'd expect in a small countryside town.

Waterfront Hotel Dungloe

02/06/2026: Great hotel rooms very modern location amazing. Service was good. Was in a package but found the residents menu was quite limited mainly fish,only one chicken dish and 1 meat dish which was steak which incurred a supplement . Though good we got was good.
10/05/2026: Stayed with a large group this weekend. The hotel and staff went out of their way to accommodate an early start for an event we were taking part in. Location is stunning. The food was outstanding.. special mention to Justin and Rihanna They were so lovely and enjoyed themselves along with the group in the evening ❤️👍 Home from home. look forward to a return visit soon
