The Lemon tree restaurant is on its own in Letterkenny.
Great food - high quality menu with excellent flavour combinations.
Good wine list at reasonable prices.
Very attentive waiting staff.
I ate at the Lemon Tree for the first time this week as part of a business trip and client entertainment. Easily one of the nicest meals I've had and the consistent quality throughout the starters, mains, desserts and cocktails was jaw-dropping. An absolute delight.
Fantastic gem of a restaurant, the food was amazing and the service was friendly and efficient. Many thanks for a lovely evening!
This restaurant is amazing, the food is incredible, we thoroughly enjoyed it.....
One of the best restaurants in the town, if not the best one. The only restaurant in Letterkenny with a Michelin star. All of their offers are on that Michelin level - a feast for the senses !
The restaurant is cozy, elegant and well decorated. The only thing I would change are the tables for 4 - could be a bit bigger. The staff is polite. The choice on their menu is not too big, but various and well composed. There is also a kids menu offering sausages, burgers or goujons.
A cheap and spacious covered car parking is opposite of the entrance.
Everything we ordered was both tasty and nice looking - starters (venison ragu and scallops), main meals (Irish venison, scallops and 2 kids menus) and the desserts. They have their house wine which is really good - we had a bottle of Chardonnay which was the perfect choice with all our meals.
There was also a wee entree "on the house" - 2 types of bread with garlic butter.
Would definitely recommend, for couples, families or any kind of private and intimate wee gatherings.
Great service, fine dining at its best.
Excellent ambience and staff,
Food is delicious
Portions could have wee bit larger
Overall a good place for fine dining
Amazing experience, location in heart of Letterkenny but tucked away from the hustle of main street in the evenings. Incredibly friendly and professional staff.
Food was amazing, everything from the kinder porter bread to start until salted caramel tart to finish was great (special recommendation to the Tuna Carpaccio and the pork belly)
One of the servers Molly, was something that turely stood out, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of the menu offering great recommendations and pairings for the meal.
Obviously quality chefs and well-trained staff. Relaxed comfortable table and delicious food. Highly recommended!
