09/09/2026: The highlight of our Letterkenny trip was our dinner here. From the complimentary appetisers to dessert, the food and service was impeccable. Would go again!

05/09/2026: Very very lovely pub. The food's great and the staff very friendly and welcoming. We came here two nights in a row because we loved it so much! If you're more than 2 people, I would recommend a reservation. Definitely would eat and drink here again.

27/08/2026: This is one of the few places in Donegal where you can get a cup of professionally brewed espresso or pour over coffee made from high‑quality specialty beans. They have good equipment, and their baristas are very professional.

19/08/2026: Omg the absolute best açai bowl I’ve ever had and I’ve been to Hawaii multiple times and Brazil !! Coffee is absolutely delicious too!! I highly recommend!! The açai bowls you can choose as many toppings as you wish.

18/07/2026: That was the best chicken i ever had. Perfect amount of sauce and chips were legendary too. Cook was really friendly and appreciative. Overall extremely happy with service.

17/07/2026: Absolutely outstanding barbeque, I'd argue it's the best in all of Ireland and served by the most friendly guy. The brisket and burnt ends were out of this world as well as the sauces and sides. Lovely sitting area beside the brewery makes for a great meal with delicious food and pints. If you ever find yourself in Letterkenny this is a stop you need to make

04/08/2026: What a fantastic experience we had here. I have several kids with autism, newborn baby and toddler so my hands were well and truly full. The staff were amazing and were so understanding and my little man with autism took a real shine to one of the staff members. She played with him and watched him for me while I attended to the others. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Ive have some horrible experiences in playcentres when it came to the kids with autism but this place made us feel so welcome and they were so understanding. I wish we lived closer to it but we on holidays

23/08/2026: Food was a mite overpriced imo. Four scallops for 12 or 14 euro…seriously? The fish and chips were tasty but the fish was a little overcooked. One of my companions really enjoyed his monkfish.

19/08/2026: Have to give today’s experience a negative review. I have visited Mountaintop Diner before and had a good meal. Today unfortunately was a bad one. We arrived just after the lunch rush so it was not too busy. Lunch order was a bowl of soup and a lunch special, goujon wrap. Waited 40 min. for these 2 items. Veg Soup was terrible. Goujon wrap had 1 piece of chicken. Wrap was barely filled. Was given a 10% discount because of the inconvenience. Won’t be returning.

16/08/2026: What you would expect in a "diner" type setting. Nice busy spot with lots coming and going. Good food, good choices, but nothing to OTT fancy. Burgers, Sambos, curry, pasta, a broad mix

28/07/2026: Harry's is an absolute gem. Without a doubt, it serves the best Guinness around - always perfectly poured and consistently excellent. The atmosphere is warm, cosy, and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax with friends or enjoy a quiet pint or 6 😄. The staff are fantastic: friendly, attentive, and always up for a chat, which really adds to the experience. If you're looking for a proper Irish pub with great service, a brilliant atmosphere, and an outstanding pint of Guinness, Harry's is hard to beat. The best local a person could get 🙌

05/08/2026: Fresh, tasty food. Great service and friendly staff. They went out of their way to make sure we got everything we wanted, even went to the trouble of making fresh onion rings for us after they had run out. Best feed we have had in a long time. We will definitely be back once we have come out of the food coma 😋 High recommend travelling to Newtown for a decent feed 👌

06/09/2026: Quirky with excellent menu. Caters for parties/groups as well as individuals. Very friendly and efficient staff AND they serve my top favourite dessert 🍨 Baked Alaska which was absolutely fabulous 👌 highly recommend.

27/06/2026: Always such lovely customer experience at Purple Velvet. The treats selection is always amazing and the service in particular is always friendly and quick!! The new PV Acai van is such a fun new addition for summer and the girls are so helpful and their attention to detail in making your order is just fab!

22/08/2026: We enjoyed a lovely night after traveling from Galway... We were greeted by Peter (manager) who checked in with us on numerous occasions. Barman Donal was very attentive, polite & spent time chatting with us. Lovely gents....Food was fantastic, the starters... mussels, brie & prawns highly recommend, delicious...Main courses...Pastas were unreal & stir fry was delicious.
