Snugborough in Letterkenny

A fine burger, but the location and atmosphere make a return unlikely for me.

5 June 26 - we found this through a search and were delighted to eat here rather than trying to find somewhere to park in Letterkenny proper. This is so much more convenient. Don't be put off by the location, through an industrial estate. // Katsu Chicken Burger - very tasty with good sauce; Gambas Pil Pil - tastes as good as it looks in my pic; Donegal Steak Sambo, and sweet potato fries. // Also discovered 'Football Special' non-alco drink for the first time (check the internet for that too). // Very good quality, well cooked, and very tasty. We would have gone for breakfast when we moved on from the area to our next rental, but they don't open Tuesday & Wednesday.

Grest place off the beaten track, not visible from the main road but worth a visit

If you're in Letterkenny, Sourdough is well worth a visit. The motorcycle-themed décor gives the place a unique character and creates a really relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that's unlike anywhere else in the country. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish was clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. A special mention has to go to Laura, who made the experience even better. She was polite, professional, and genuinely engaging, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Great service like that really makes a difference. Fantastic food, excellent service, and a brilliant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend Sourdough to anyone looking for a great meal in Letterkenny.

Fantastic Bbq. We stumbled across this place by pure accident and I'm so glad we did. Food was fantastic and staff very helpful. Reminded me of home. Would love to see more places like this around Ireland. Still Fantastic 4 years later. Brought the whole family down (visiting from Montana). Even though it was super busy with the rally on, our party of 15 felt like we were the only ones there with the kindness and care they showed us, and the servings they gave us. Lunch tomorrow is already sorted.

Lovely restaurant with great food, in a slightly unexpected location. Small criticism is that I would prefer table service for an evening meal. The use of staff seemed a bit inefficient, though said staff were very welcoming.
