08/08/2026: Lovely place , is not dog friendly unfortunately! / staff made a exception for us as we had travelled and have a small well behaved dog 🐕 ( thank you) the bar was beautiful the cocktails really tasty and the food we grabbed from the takeaway belonging to them was lovely too win win 🏆 x

27/06/2026: Always such lovely customer experience at Purple Velvet. The treats selection is always amazing and the service in particular is always friendly and quick!! The new PV Acai van is such a fun new addition for summer and the girls are so helpful and their attention to detail in making your order is just fab!

14/07/2026: We arrived here at noon and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious and there was lots of space to eat outside with our dogs. The prices were very reasonable and the portion size was large. We would definitely return.

23/07/2026: We were visiting from California and really missing tofu (lol), so we were excited to find this place! We got the grilled tofu steak and the chow mein with tofu, and both were delicious. We appreciated that we were able to get the chow mein without egg. Such a great spot, it made our evening!

16/07/2026: One of the best places that I've eaten at in Ireland and definitely the best place to eat in Letterkenny. We've eaten here four times. The burger pictured is unlike any hamburger I've experienced, it is an experience, so many ingredients. To top it off, the staff is amazing, they totally made us feel welcome. But a special thanks to Colette, she invented a drink called, "The jungle monkey", get it. You must try it the desserts. Everything about this restaurant is worth it. Why eat anywhere else when you can eat here? I might even come back to Ireland. Just eat at this restaurant. Finally, get a side of the brown gravy, just do it.

15/06/2026: We've always gone here. It's always been on the dear side but the portions and food has always been worth it. I don't mind paying if the food is good and I leave feeling full. Now it's not worth it. The food is great still but they have them plates with the big wide rim and the wee bowl part in the middle. So basically you're leaving hungry. The portions have got smaller and the prices haven't.

06/06/2026: Cafe Sonder is a place where you’re always welcomed. Chef Martin cooks up a great meal (I had a delicious chicken and cheese toastie) and a great conversation. Highly recommend!

01/07/2026: Vegan, vegetarian & plant-based travelers: just call ahead, and the kitchen will make sure to have a full menu of vegan starters and mains for you to choose from. Make sure to mention how many members of group are vegan, so that they can plan accordingly. We were very impressed with the service, and with the quality of the vegan options. We will definitely be returning soon!

03/08/2026: I only ordered the acaí bowl, so my review is based on that. The cafe looks lovely and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the acai to toppings ratio was disappointing. There was very little açaí in the bowl when I would expect it to be the main ingredient( about 70%). If you re going to offer ii. I would suggest it should be served with a better balance.

31/05/2026: Loved it in here. A really nice friendly vibe going on at lunchtime on a Friday. The young woman behind the bar was so welcoming. I thought so, and when my wife came back from the bar herself she said unprompted “she’s a lovely woman behind the bar”. Went in for one and stayed most of the afternoon.
