The best restaurants in Letterkenny

20/08/2025: A bartender named Garreth is the most rudest man ever. Shocking. My step mum came to letterkenny for the night and asked for his name as he was serving us so she could leave a good review and he just kept giving her dirty looks and refused. Fair enough. Later on that night my step mum accidently knocked her pint over and he sighed and gave her another dirty look, she asked for a tissue and he completely ignored her and went on to serve other people. My friend had to go around the bar looking for tissues to clean it up as garreth clearly cant do his job. Weird man.

14/08/2025: Brillant hotel. Every part of the hotel was spotless. Room was well decorated and very comfortable. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Food and staff in the restaurant were great. Will definetly book here again.

21/07/2025: The hotel didnt look great from the outside but inside is bright, clean and well maintained. The room was a good size and spotless, but oppressively warm and it made sleep difficult. It could do with air-conditioning of some sort and the fan supplied was of no help. The pool and facilities were clean and well kept. The staff throughout were really great, very friendly and helpful.

18/07/2025: We stayed in the Clanree hotel for our 30th wedding anniversary and I have to say one of the best experiences, hotel is beautiful, staff are lovely and the hotel is ideally situated . I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would go back there again.

01/08/2025: Popped in to Have Chips and a Tea ☕, before a visit to the Regional Culture Centre. It was a nice and quick service and always good to be there. For My Latest Visit I got a back on the Menu Pork Rib Sandwich with Chips and a Tea and the Item is still Great Since it was last on the Menu and well Recommended.

22/09/2025: Ordered fish. It left alot to be desired. Fish was fresh. The batter was disgusting, smelled and tasted of uncooked dough. So disappointed. Id glad drive past and go to Friars Glencar.

05/09/2025: Just Had Chicken Tenders and Chips Today 5th September 2025 The Delivery Driver Is Friendly and I Had Pepsi Max In My Order. I Would Order Here Again.

11/09/2025: Breakfast smoothie was like drinking pink water. Not as described on the menu. And i was overcharged, small breakfast and and watery smoothie €14.25. And on menu it's says free tea and coffee before 12 which I was charged for

28/11/2025: I was completely shocked by my experience at this restaurant. I was served chicken that was visibly raw and pink in the middle — absolutely unacceptable and unsafe. When you go out to eat, the bare minimum you expect is food that’s properly cooked, and this place couldn’t even deliver that. I lost my appetite immediately and left feeling disgusted and worried about food safety. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

11/10/2025: Good Place for a bite to eat before going to the Cinema 🎥 and has a very Good and varied Menu's. Great Surf and Turf. Very Good and Always Recommended for a bite to eat before going to the Cinema 🎥. No Change Still Great.

30/10/2025: Plenty of good food options, I got the kebab chip box which was really tasty. I was taking away my food, there wasn't much of a wait for the food and the staff brought the food to me when it was ready. Situated close to the bus station so this a perfect spot to have a bite to eat in after a long bus journey.

25/10/2025: Food is good, I cant fault that. However, you have gone back to charging 15cent for the deposit returns scheme, even though the drink comes in a paper cup with a straw. This seemed to have been rectified for a few weeks but its now back to square one. Another money making racket.

06/09/2025: Never had any issues with the food, always top notch. But the service this past 2 orders I’ve made hasn’t been the best. Few weeks ago, I was missing a fried rice and bottle of 7up from the order, rang and was told I would get it the next time I order. Got that sorted. Next order was I missing a portion of sauce for the 4 in 1 and a large chips. Was told I could get these added to my next order. Also ordered 3 bubble teas at the same time and waited over 30 mins for them, even though my hot food order was ready. Asked for a refund as I hadn’t time to wait, and was told they would be ready soon. The order was placed at 6.05 for a 6.30 collection and it was 7 before I got the 3 teas. Yes they were busy, but I kept getting told they would be ready soon. If they ran out of the tea, they should have just refunded my money instead of making me wait.

10/08/2025: Very bad food was disgusting everything we got was absolutely awfull and tasted horrific definitely give it a miss sauce tasted horrible my shredded chillies bowel was un adabale ans my partners beef and sauce absolutely rank only thing was nice was my childs chicken nuggets wouldn't recommend or ever return save your money people it's a true honest review
