08/03/2026: One of these places that sell chicken that is more congealed batter than meat - why not spend a bit on better ingredients and better cooking - you charge enough. Very busy but poor quality.
23/01/2026: Drive up from Wicklow every week to get this Chinease. Proper nice grub. Normally get everything but the vegetable spring rolls. Only negative is got sweet and sour sauce all over my fresh clobber last week haha. Defo gets a 9.8 boshes out of 10 though

20/08/2025: This franchise does not exist any more and reviews are for old franchise called chickings but this franchise is permanently close round 7 months ago now its new business opened here called LK FRIED CHICKEN.
11/04/2025: I regrettably spent 30 minutes (waiting)on an unproductive endeavor.
The chicken was excessively cooked and excessively greasy; the oil appeared to be rancid, possibly even outdated.
Regarding the family meal—the specific selection escapes me—the team reported a missing side of fries.
I would not recommend dining at this establishment, particularly given the presence of uncleared tables.
The online comments indicate that the establishment is Halal-certified, a fact that was previously unknown to me; consequently, I will not be returning.

15/10/2025: This take away is one of the best Chinese. The food is delicious, their curry is my favourite in town and anything else I've tried is also really good. Lovely friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

24/07/2025: My group spent €110 plus another €15 euro tip for driver - Will never order here again - Dips were missing for sides and €10 euro extra worth of dips order. We called and the lovely man on the phone explain the driver would be back - he came back and gave us a a piss off face then gave us 4 dips when we ordered 12 - We were given all Garlic Mayo when we ordered a mix of all. Not worth the money in our opinion. Called back and were never answered. We will order from another late night pizza instead next time. Our dough balls just came with dough no pepperoni and no spinach.
22/06/2025: Who needs WWE when you have this four star? I thought the employees were about to start beating the heads off each other after a heated exchange. I waited 25 minutes for a meagre cookie, a time in which I could have driven home and baked it myself. Not a hint of an apology was to be heard over this diabolical waiting time. I also did not appreciate the fact that said cookie was RAW. The only thing I could recommend this four star for is if you wish to witness a scrap.

17/06/2025: Busy busy busy but this small eatery was well worth the wait - absolutely delicious chicken pie and Quiche but served with a lovely mixed salad - very reasonable and very tasty. Will definitely be back and would recommend - remember it was busy but that's a good sign
16/04/2025: First timers and 3 generations had a bite to eat here after over 2 hours in Tropical World. We had cooled down whilst waiting for the children to run themselves ragged in the covered but outdoor play area. On entering the cafe, it was warm and inviting until we spotted people leaving a table and went to make a move to get it and were informed of the queuing system for a table by a staff member and a couple in front of us who would get the table. We waited probably about 5 minutes for another table to be vacated: it felt quite long with 2 children aged 6 and under who were hopping from one foot to the other. In the meantime, we ordered a latte €3.50, cappuccino €3.50, 2 fruit shoots (€1.50 each), one chocolate brownie €3, one coffee cake €3 and a slice of lemon meringue €4.95. Coffees and tray bakes were very good but star of the show was the lemon meringue which was DIVINE. Overall, I thought here was quite reasonable given the climate. We thawed out, warmed up and got our sugar hit and rolled out of here. We would return maybe for some quiche next time and definitely some lemon meringue 🍋😋.
