Quick and professional service, delicious food. Affordable. We are big fans of Irish breakfast and Friars' one was a good shot. Very happy with coffee too.

Lovely place , is not dog friendly unfortunately! / staff made a exception for us as we had travelled and have a small well behaved dog 🐕 ( thank you) the bar was beautiful the cocktails really tasty and the food we grabbed from the takeaway belonging to them was lovely too win win 🏆 x

Wood Berry Grill Bar & Restaurant

06/09/2026: Quirky with excellent menu. Caters for parties/groups as well as individuals. Very friendly and efficient staff AND they serve my top favourite dessert 🍨 Baked Alaska which was absolutely fabulous 👌 highly recommend.
14/08/2026: They are so awesome. The meals here are so underrated. But they do not have a website. How do I contact them to offer them one?

01/07/2026: Vegan, vegetarian & plant-based travelers: just call ahead, and the kitchen will make sure to have a full menu of vegan starters and mains for you to choose from. Make sure to mention how many members of group are vegan, so that they can plan accordingly. We were very impressed with the service, and with the quality of the vegan options. We will definitely be returning soon!
